Rustic but beautiful views
The views of the surrounding Canyons made up for a lot here.The pictures don't match the current property. The area around the cabin needs a lot of work. It looks like a bunch of unfinished projects. The inside of the cabin needs a lot of work also, painting walls, filling holes, finishing cabintry and proper installation of cabinetry, sealing and cleaning windows, and hanging curtains. Also why have a bath tub if it cannot be used. The shower head needed to be replaced or deep cleaned at the very least.We were also unprepared to be without an oven. We made do with the microwave and (filthy) air fryer, but it would have been nice to have an oven to bake with instead. Maybe a large toaster oven or convection oven would have been a better substitute. The master bed mattress needs replaced, it sinks terribly in the middle. My wife and I weigh 300 pounds combined and a bed shouldn't do that. The cost per night needs to match the condition of the property and it doesn't here. Thank you for letting us stay but

The cabin was spacious & mostly comfortable. Weather was unseasonably cold & snowy, so cold air was coming through cracks in back door & also the downstairs bedroom window, which could not be totally closed. I could suggest a few minor additions to improve things, but overall, it was a pleasant stay. The scenery is outstanding! Just wish the weather would have allowed us to enjoy the upper deck. Perhaps another time.

Cozy Cabin
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this historic cabin. Absolutely loved everything about it and the fact that the owners are trying to keep it in the original form vs modernizing adds so much character to the cabin. It was perfect for us to make breakfast in the morning and we enjoyed coffee on the covered porch. Our evenings were our favorite as this is a very secluded location so the view of the stars is AMAZING!!! We would def stay here again

Had a very comfortable stay. It was beautiful there. Staff was close by if you needed anything at all, and were friendly and helpful. I don’t recommend the cliff dwellers restaurant near by did not have a good experience there.

'We really liked our stay at this cottage. The cabin was beautiful and a nice placed to stay. It was clean and comfortable. Our family of 5 had plenty of room. The washer and dryer was really helpful. I enjoyed sitting on the deck looking at the cliffs in the morning. We took one day and went to a "beach" on the Colorado River that was great. The ad mentioned kayaking, which was a separate thing - not right near the cottage. It is less than two hours to the North Rim, so we used the cabin as home base to visit there. The biggest negative is that we bought groceries to save some money on meals, but the main way of cooking was by the grill, no oven.

If you like remote locales in breathtaking settings this place is amazing. The cabin is spacious and rustic, but clean and well cared for. We absolutely loved our time there and would go again in a heartbeat. Kayaking the Colorado is well worth it, and you can find out everything you need to know about the area at the tavern, just a one minute walk away. I cannot express enough how genuinely kind and cool the people at VC are. This was by far one of the best places we've ever stayed, and we've been around! If you're on the fence, book it. You will not be disappointed

Beauty and serene
Overall good location. Located approximately halfway between Page Az and the south entrance of Grand Canyon. The views from the cabin are breathtaking. Cabin was great except a little warm during the hot days of summer. There is air conditioning but does not seem to cool it enough in most parts. Other than that we truly. Enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Thank you

Can tell pics were earlier/cleaner in this places history. Area surrounding a bit trailer park like. We had 6 total for a full week and the "amenities" clearly were not meant for that many or length. Lots of little broken things like the tub non-working as not connected, shower handle gone, window handles broken, beds sunken in... The outside not really upkept.. It worked for what we needed, barely. For over 1k for 4 nights, a bit disappointing.

We were initially surprised due to the area surrounding the cabin, looked like a trailer park, but I soon realized it's just how things are in Arizona and was fine, The WiFi doesn't exist but the owner allowed me to use her personal WiFi, owner is the nicest person around. Cabin was perfect, well stocked, clean, relaxing, not a TV in sight which we liked. Not too close to a town or Grand Canyon, but we did some grocery shopping and grilled our own steaks on front porch and eat right there outside. The view of the stars from the balcony at night leaves you speechless. Loved everything about it

Great Stay!!
My family and I traveled in from all over and we got to stay in this super unique, cool cabin. We loved the details and what everything offered. Our host were amazing!!! If we needed anything they were on it and that means so much to us. Check in and out was so Easy. The North Rim of the Grand Canyon was about one an half hours away. The view of the vermillion cliffs were stunning from the front porch. I definitely recommend this amazing cabin.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay while there however we didn't spend a ton of time on site. Things to know: TURN ON THE WATER PUMP. We somehow missed that part so my first shower was rather interesting. Ha. The deck provides a BEAUTIFUL view of the Vermillion Cliffs, however we had 5 kids with us so we had to walk through their sleeping area to use it so we couldn't use it as much as we would have liked. Beds were comfortable, however we are a family of 7 and had I not packed a blanket in my carry-on, there wouldn't have been enough blankets so if you're a larger party I'd bring some extra blankets. Overall we all enjoyed our stay, ages ranged 10-37! Sitting on the front porch and back deck and waking up with a mountain view was amazing. Thanks for the amazing stay! You won't find a better affordable option!!

Unique and Welcoming place up stay!
We loved our stay at this cabin! Our youngest son loved befriending the local dogs, cats, and even chickens. We loved getting to hike the Vermilion Cliffs right in our own backyard. Waking up to the amazing view every morning left me breathless. Overall we loved our stay! The local neighbors were very friendly and gave some great suggestions on local hikes to try. I want to go back someday! Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect base for exploring the Colorado Plateau
Our Feb 2022 visit to Marble Canyon was amazing. The cabin was spacious and comfortable, and the gas fireplace was welcome on the colder nights. We felt very safe here. The owner was quite helpful in pointing out the best places to go in the area, and even helped out with tools and parts when we had an unexpected Jeep incident that needed fixing on the spot. We used Lee’s Ferry Lodge as our base to explore the area by Jeep, and found the very best rim drives and condor watching spots on the entire Plateau are literally across the street! The cabin met all our expectations and the views from the upper deck, of the cliffs by day and the stars at night, are the best we’ve ever had in a cabin rental. We will be going back.

A great place to stay
It’s a really rustic and historic cabin, and we liked it a lot. It was just me and my wife. We canoed the Colorado Horseshoe Bend through Kayakthecolorado.com, and visited the North Rim of the Grand Canyon from the cabin. The canoe trip was maybe the best thing we did on the whole vacation, we saw wild horses come to drink at the river. Don’t miss the Horseshoe Bend overlook, the entrance is on the left when you take Hwy 89 north towards Page. This is a very remote area, but you can walk to the bar at the lodge from the cabin and use their wi fi and have a drink if you like. I did make a cell phone call from inside the cabin. You can’t beat the views, you are basically staying at a national monument!

Really enjoyed our stay at Cliff View Cabin, and greatly appreciated that our pets were allowed to join us. We chose the area for the chance to see California condors, and really got to watch them from the public viewing site on House Rock road . Also really loved hiking lower Paria Canyon. The cabin was a cozy refuge at the end of the day.

Janet answered all of our questions promptly. We didn’t know the nearest grocery store was 45 min away in Page, but we didn’t ask prior to, so that was our fault. Would definitely stay again! The house was perfect for a family of 5. Clean, and well stocked. It was nice to be able to wash our clothes b/c we had been in hotels for 3 days. We did think the house would be closer to Page, AZ, but it worked out fine b/c my husband and daughter fished at Lee’s Ferry, which was very close.

The cabin was impressive architecturally and the attached deck was pleasant, but there were many areas that were in need of repair and/or cleaning. Blinds didn’t work, holes in walls, no central heating system, cold bathrooms, etc. Looked like the place could be something, someday, but it’s not much to look at today.

Beautiful renovated log home near Lees Ferry and Vermilion Cliffs
What a fabulous property! A brand new 2nd story deck with views of the Vermilion Cliffs perfect for morning coffee, sunset happy hours, and evening star gazing. The combination of historic building (log/stone) with renovated interior is gorgeous and looks like the best property anywhere nearby. We also rented kayaks with the onsite Kayak The Colorado business and had a blast with good fishing, easy waters, and wildlife siting (bighorn sheep and herons). Only 100 minutes to the North Rim and 20 minutes to Lees Ferry boat ramp. Attentive on site owners are working diligently on the entire property and kayaking business. We were so happy to find this growing business in this area.
