"Welcoming hosts, lovely gite, very clean. All relevant facilities in the kitchen and bathroom are available. It is a very quiet and peaceful area, perfect if you want to get away from it all. For those who can't live without their phone, there is WiFi, and three TVs! We loved the animals around, rabbits, free range turkeys, horse (not to be eaten!). The hosts are very friendly. "A nice old stone house with a lot of caracter. It is spacious with a great garden ( lots of shade) and a nice pair of donkeys. Very quiet and beautiful skies at night. Very close to the gorges de Dordogne and about half an hour drive to a good supermarket. One small thing to improve: the shower is very small."

"Great house to stay in and much bigger than I expected. Perfect size for a family of 4/5. Everything you could need, and the fans were welcome on warm nights. Great communication with Gilly before and throughout our stay. The pool and bbq were fantastic, just a shame the weather wasn't as hot as usual!"

"WiFi was not working and had not been working for some time. We were not told prior to our stay. Both showers do not have the facility to fix the shower head in position so this makes showering difficult. The sinks in the main house bathroom are broken, the waste plungers do not work. You will be asked to clean the pool but there is no mention of this in the booking information. The wooden steps up to the pool are very slippery when wet and in poor condition so need replacing. "Le lieu de la propriété à La Nouaille est très isolé des sites à visiter. Il n'y a pas de parking pour le véhicule. Depuis la rue, il faut monter des marches pour accéder au jardin, puis encore des marches pour accéder au RdC, puis un escalier extrêmement dangereux avec des marches très courtes et en pente très accentuée. Il manque au moins une main courante côté mur. Bref, d'un usage très dangereux pour perrsonnes de plus de 50 ans et pour des enfants. Le Rez-de-Chaussée est très agréable,...
