"A simply wonderful stay in a most beautiful location. The tranquility, stunning views and super pool allowed us to completely relax. The short walk through the countryside into Agonac enabled us not to use transport everyday & the added benefit of the rail station was another plus. "Le très mauvais temps n'a pas permis d'apprécier la région, ni les extérieurs du gîte (piscine...), dommage. Toutefois Brantôme tout proche vaut le détour et Sarlat aussi mais plus loin. Le gite est spacieux, beaux espaces, etc. Mais les propriétaires ont dû improviser des solutions de remplacement de sanitaires."

"We stayed in pillac with 10 adults from 74 to 34, and 9 children aged between 2 and 18 and what a holiday we had! The house is perfectly set up for family groups as each lot can take a "wing". A really well equipped kitchen enabled us to have wonderful meals at home... meat cooked by the boys and wonderful salads cooked by Barbara's friend. Barbara was super helpful and very easy to contact the whole time. The village was gorgeous but tiny..... about a 10 minute drive for any grocery shopping....

"We have stayed with extended family and friends including a number of teens, baby and a large dog. Had brilliant time, house well equipped for all ages, pool is large and very well maintained. Extensive grounds with lots of places to relax including my favourite - the hammock! The views are to die for! All very clean and the owners were fantastic, helpful but not intrusive. We had such a lovely time and will come back to continue exploring the area - so much to do!"

"Martine and Alain were very welcoming and they have worked so hard to make the gite a happy holiday place. We were lucky with the weather and were able to be outside all the time - it was an unexpected heatwave! There were lots of lovely eating places in Brantome and Bourdeilles, but you do need to drive. The one thing I should say is that it is absolutely perfect for families. If you are travelling with friends, however, you should know that the master bedroom with its bathroom and separate...

"La Tissonie is great and totally private and in such a beautiful rural location but only 10 minutes from the town of Riberac which has a fantastic market on a Friday. Fred was very welcoming and helpful when we needed to ask a few things. We were a family of 12 from ages 21 to 79 and the property was perfect for us all to be together, and also space for individual and quiet moments if required.
