Maison de la Gentinière – Restored Country House with Heated Pool near Beauval Zoo

Maison de la Gentinière is a fully restored Touraine farmhouse in Mareuil sur Cher, just 7 km from Beauval Zoo. Set on over 3 hectares of open, wooded land, it welcomes you to a peaceful natural setting.



The heated pool (10 x 4.5 m) is available from June to September.



The property is ideally located near the famous Loire Valley châteaux, including Chenonceau, Cheverny, Chaumont, Gué Péan, Montrésor, Monpoupon, the Collegiate Church and Crypt of Saint Aignan. The Cher à Vélo cycling route and the wine trail are also close by, offering plenty of opportunities for exploration.



The farmhouse features a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge, and tableware, plus a working fireplace in one of the living rooms. Two living rooms of about 30 m² each offer a sofa, armchairs, pinball machine, large retractable screen with projector, exercise bike, and dining area for 8–10 guests.



There are 1 to 3 spacious bedrooms (each over 15 m²). Two bedrooms have a 160 cm double bed (can be split into two 80 cm beds) and a 90 cm single bed; the third has a 160 cm double bed. Two shower rooms and two separate toilets are available. A mezzanine serves as a reading nook or office.



Outdoors, enjoy a plancha and barbecue for al fresco meals.
