"We absolutely loved our stay at Brookside Coastal Estate. The home is even more beautiful in person, and you can tell how much thought and care has gone into every detail. Everything was spotless, beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable.The location is fantastic. Chimney Corner Beach is so close and quickly became a favourite, especially for the sunsets, while the property itself feels peaceful and private.There is so much to enjoy without even leaving Brookside. The bridge over the brook is such a unique touch, the fire pit is beautiful in the evenings, and the hot tub was amazing after a day of exploring. The game shed was a huge hit with the kids—they loved the foosball table and Pop-A-Shot!Melanie, the property manager, was wonderful—warm, responsive, helpful and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great stay.Brookside feels like part of the vacation itself, not simply somewhere to sleep. Beautiful home, gorgeous property, incredible location and so many thoughtful touches. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it!"

"This is a wonderful property! I love antiques and it has many beautiful antiques that are still useful. When we were there they had amazing musicians in the music barn. Everyone was friendly and helpful! I will be back!"

"Our family (2 adults and a teen) had a wonderful stay at this lovely house on the west coast of Cape Breton. The photos in the listing don’t do it justice—the house is spacious with huge windows all around the upper level. The view of the water is spectacular from the enormous deck. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed."

"What an incredible place!We arrived a little early, but Gus and Gert were there to greet us with a warm, friendly welcome. The house itself is spacious - perfect for our family of four - and absolutely spotless. There’s even a driving range with a one‑hole golf setup outside for practicing your swing. On top of all that, the location in the Margaree Valley is ideal for exploring beautiful beaches, the Cabot Trail, Cheticamp for whale excursions, and the Skyline Trail."
