Guest Comments
"We stayed at Banana Pancakes Holiday House in June 2014 and I must say that it's the most delightful place that I've stayed at in Margaret River. It's tucked away in a majestic location surrounded by tall trees, cottage gardens and quietly chirping birds. You feel that you are a million miles away, despite the town centre only being a stone throw away. We were impressed by the tranquility, the house design and the amenities that they had to offer. Amongst the highlights were sitting by the wood fire at night or on the back verandah at daytime overlooking the beautiful gardens. We felt as if we were at a home away from home. We have already recommended this to all of our friends and we will certainly be revisiting Banana Pancakes again." Emma from Perth.
"We stayed for our family holiday at Banana Pancakes and loved every minute of it! There was so much to keep the kids occupied, including a trampoline, tyre swings, a bike track and a great selection of games. That was when they weren't exploring the huge property! Looking forward to our next getaway!" The Brennan family.
"We stayed 2 nights at Banana Pancakes and seriously didn't want to leave, its such a beautiful tranquil place. The cottage itself is so well equipped and spotless! With the added bonus of being able to bring our dogs who loved the acre of fully fenced bush garden. I am so glad I found this accommodation and cannot wait for our next stay." - Sarah.

It feels like a forgotten cottage swallowed up by the beautiful bush and trees surrounding it. We had a kangaroo visit one morning. You could almost forget your are just 5 minutes from town. Lovely stay
We loved Banana Pancakes. Kids loved the toys, books and activities and had plenty of room to run around outside. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking.Beds and couch were super comfortable and the aircon in the lounge was enough to keep the house cool during the hot days. The property felt secluded but was close to town and an easy 20 minute walk to the main strip. We were super lucky and saw kangaroos on the drive our first morning.

There was plenty of toys for a small child to play with and they where kind enough to ensure there was a slip mat for a toddler to use in the bath. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the walks in the garden.
Banana Pancakes is a clean and comfortable house on a lovely bush block. We love coming here to relax and to walk on the easily accessible trails nearby - and so do our dogs! Another fantastic stay for us, thank you for sharing your property.
We throughly enjoyed our time at Banana Pancakes, in particular the lovely bush around the house and proximity to walking and cycling trails. A lovely place in a great location close to town.
We are really enjoyed our short stay. Our dog love to playing ball in the garden. Banana Pancake is a comfortable accomdation for family and pet friendly accommodation.
Lovely home with personality! The garden is an adventure for kids and dogs. Home is well equipped and comfortable, brilliant fireplace.
Martin and Jacqui were lovely to communicate with - we will happily stay again!
We absolutely loved our stay at Banana Pancakes! It was a truly beautiful property, the garden was a hit with our little one. You get a feeling of tranquility and isolation whilst still being so close to everything at the same time and everything in the cottage was really comfy and cosy. Honestly, couldn’t be happier.

Jan stay
Lovely cottage for family stay, although not really suited to 14 month old who is walking due to verandah. Great for older kids above 2 years. Great size rooms and layout. Location was excellent.
The Property was very private and all fenced it, which was great for the dog. It's just a close walk to town, around 10-15 minutes, and just across the road from the trail system which can lead you into town, or into the national park. We enjoyed our stay and will book again after summer season is over. Property was clean, and had everything we needed in regards to cooking and staying warm during colder evenings.
The large open plan lounge dining and kitchen was perfect for a comfortable and relaxed gathering. We enjoyed the games and puzzles and large comfortable sofa. Fireplace was awesome. The kitchen was great for cooking. Due to the rain we couldn't make the most of the large secret garden but we look forward to staying again and spending more time outdoors.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage with the Beautiful Garden and Tranquil bush setting, together with wildlife, and so close to town. Our two dogs also thoroughly enjoyed roaming around the bush block. The cottage contained everything that we needed with comfortable fans and air conditioning and we loved sitting out on the veranda overlooking the garden. The only minor disappointment was the Fetch box which we found difficult to navigate and unbearably slow, and, because it doesn't stream services that contain ads, we couldn't watch Netflix or Prime, and it doesn't include Binge or Max. The fetch box is the only way to watch free-to-air TV channels but you need to have your own 7plus, 9now, ABC iview etc account.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house and block are lovely--very comfortable and peaceful --nice bush walks and so close to town. The beds were very comfortable and the back porch is a great place to sit and enjoy the peace and serenity.
Perfect house for a family holiday. Our teenager was happy to have her own room, while the kidult boys were happy in their own space. They even used the cricket toys (after a few ball purchases). Meanwhile I felt like I was a millions miles from anywhere. Being surrounded by the most beautiful trees and birds. Loved my little walks around the property
