Welcome to your peaceful retreat in Margaret River. Our stylish, modern one-bedroom studio is just 1.5 km from the town centre—a pleasant 15-minute walk to cafés, restaurants, and local art galleries, and only a 10-minute drive to some of the region’s most iconic beaches and wineries. Ideal for couples or solo travellers looking for convenience, comfort, and charm.

The studio is privately located at the rear of our main residence, accessible via a secure garden entrance. Please note that access involves a few steps and an uneven gravel path, so it may not be suitable for guests with mobility challenges, including those using walking sticks, wheelchairs, or the elderly.

We’re pet-friendly. One well-behaved pet is welcome per stay (pet fee: $100). While the property offers a lovely outdoor space and a nearby dog park within walking distance, the yard is not fully enclosed. For safety, pets must be leashed at all times in shared or unfenced areas. Property owners are not responsible for missing dogs on grounds. Dogs need to be quiet at all times.

As your hosts, we live at the front of the property and are available should you need assistance with local tips, wine tours, transport options, or anything else to make your stay more enjoyable. Our friendly dachshund also calls this place home and loves to say hello.

The studio offers:

During the Christmas and New Year holiday period, a 4-night minimum stay applies.

Locked away in the suburbs... noisy children disturbing... charged for not drying wine glasses when I washed them... not a tea towel in site. Then charged for breaking a table??? 60+ single woman ... please do yourself a favour & find somewhere more central that offers basic options such as knives, forks, plates & tea towels. Sorry guys, but abysmal....

Unit tucked around the back of suburban house. Th photo is of the house and not the actual Unit Car left out the front. Access via badly laid limstone blocks as steps , then across a gravel patch and step up onto Verandah by wobbly wooden box used as a step and no handrails. Verandah had no safety rail around edge . Because we couldn't access the room safely , we cancelled and Stayz gave us a refund. Until improvements are made , would not reccomend.. It proved difficult to find alternate accommodation at short notice , particularly as we were tired after a 3 hour drive. Very dissatisfied...

We have family in Margaret River so this property was ideal for us to stay. We were only there to sleep. We took our dog with us and it was totally fine for her too. We didn’t see the owners in the front, although they live in the adjoining house the studio is very private.

Some suggestions. Front step a bit dangerous for oldies. Coffee mugs not nice to drink out of. Lots of midges in the unit. Small table and chairs inside would be useful.

Barely five minutes from the centre of Margaret River, the location is convenient to restaurants, cafes and all the town has to offer. Mayra and Matt's stay is modern, clean and well kept, with all the essentials for a short weekend trip - and were more than easy to communicate and get along with!

We had a lovely stay at Mayra's studio. She was very accommodating to us and our daughter, even leaving a basket of toys for her to play with :). The studio is small, yet has everything you need fo a short stay. The space was clean and even though the studio is behind the main house, it was very quiet. The bathroom was spacious, and we especially enjoyed the double shower. Thanks!

The property was located in a large housing develop ment and not 5 minutes from Woolies as indicated. We thought we would be able to walk into town, as this would have taken about 20 minutes. On arrival the front garden was strewn with children’s bikes and looked untidy. There was the minimum of cutlery and plates. The shower was very good but the toilet next to it was open to the kitchen and it needed a door to close it off. From the photo on the website it seemed as if there was a much larger garden, whereas it was not a comfortable place to sit outside. The two young children did not disturb us. Overall, not good value for money.

This property is well kept and neat. Although it is at the back of the owners property, it is private and the neighbourhood is quiet. A few minutes drive will get you in town. We really enjoyed our stay.
