Accor Hotels hotels in Marietas Islands, Mexico

"First of all, check-in. The very first day that we arrive Mexico. As the shuttle supposed to come and pick us up to take us to the resort which is booked with Expedia and paid 160$ already , I was gone at the proper spot with the grey line to ask them to take us to the resort that person check everything and ask us that we supposed to go to a different resort as when I initially booked Expedia give this option to change vacation or fully refund till march 12 and so I change my booking with different resort. Expedia allow me and refund me the resort after I easily changed my booking. As it was all inclusive vacation and everything comes under one package I assume that everything going to be changed the same thing as my airline tickets my shuttle and my resort everything booked with Expedia, It’s supposed to change everything by itself, but it did not happen so the guy at the airport asked me to pay more as the resort is now on different location as I check on my map it’s actually same in hotel zone but anyway I have to pay $40 US for change the resort. second thing when I reached the resort, Expedia did another thing just to change the resort . They change everything. I don’t know how it happened that it’s supposed to be four people family they only booked for two people room so the resort was asking me to pay them $457 for my kid as But my air ticket was booked with Expedia and all info was there for 4 of us booked resort was so nice very clean. I want to write more no space"

"Had a really great stay here with family friends and children large pools activities going on at night food was very good just hard to get into the a la carte restaurants so we were only able to do that one evening out of our seven the staff are lovely especially the poolside staff"

"Our stay was very good, the pool was very nice very warm and good sized. The buffet and especially restaurants. The food was excellent. The staff was very accommodating, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We were upgraded to the royal room that had a balcony which was lovely. The beach was fantastic."

"We were impressed with the cleanliness of the resort, however the number of staff, particularly the recreation staff, seemed to be limited as compared to other resorts we have stayed. The buffet was plentiful with lots of choices but again I thought there was limited staff. Definitely enjoyed the bar scene. "

"Everything was great. Restaurants had excellent food especially at the Secrets side. My son loved the kids club. Staff was very friendly "

"Overall the property is well kept considering the finished wood stairs and rafters. All the staff are very courteous, kind, and helpful. We had almost left some personal items in the room and just 5 mins after checking out, we were informed that we left items in the cooler. We were able to go back to the room to recover our items. The resort is certainly a family-friendly atmosphere with activities for the kids all day, inside kids club as well as outside kids club. The room was serviced everyday with fresh towels and bedding. Beach resorts tend to have sand everywhere but Marival somehow kept it free of sand after our room was serviced. Reasons I don’t give 5 stars: rooms are very small. No fresh fruit in any of the bars/drinks. All the Chicken taste like a freezer. Pizza place only open for dinner. Lack of protein options for breakfast."
