"We were a group of nine, the villa looked perfect for the size of our group online and was exactly as described when we arrived. The surroundings were very peaceful and quiet with a nice cooling breeze around the pool. The pool was the perfect size and the interior was absolutely spotless and modern. Vinko is the most accommodating and helpful host I have ever experienced, he was sending me information on the local amenities and restaurants etc, long before we arrived, and was always available if we needed anything. I have been renting villas for 30 years, this is my best experience yet. "

"We had a great stay! The house was perfect for our family with three teenagers – all bedrooms were equally comfortable and had their own bathrooms, which gave everyone the chance to relax and have their own space.The sea is just a few steps from the house, with crystal clear water, and several good restaurants are within walking distance. We really appreciated the host's excellent recommendations.The house was clean, well-equipped, and in a great location. The only small downside is that the sun leaves the property around 4 PM, so there's no evening sun – something to keep in mind if that’s important to you.All in all, a great place that we would happily return to!"

"First impressions of this hotel were excellent as we walked into reception & saw the most amazing views. I’m happy to say that the excellent experience continued throughout our 11 night stay. We booked a family room which was one of the 2 interconnecting rooms available in the hotel. This gave us access to a huge patio with a private pool. Such a lovely thing to have as this pool stayed in the sun all day whilst also allowing access to shade if needed. The staff were just wonderful. They could not do enough to help & were some of the friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever come across. I also need to mention the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful & of great quality. We had dinner in the restaurant 3 times during our stay & the food was exceptional. Superb cooking & fantastic service. The price was also very reasonable for the quality offered & worked out to be no more expensive than some other restaurants in the village with the guest ‘10% off offer’ provided. It was a shame that the restaurant wasn’t busier with more guests because it really was very good! As other guests have commented, this hotel feels much more like a 5* rather than the 4* rating it has. It’s a small hotel with only 29 rooms which means that the attention to detail & service are top notch. Highly recommend as a base for exploring this area of Croatia. "

"We were very comfortable in our VRBO in Marina. The bathrooms had been recently remodeled and were absolutely beautiful and functional. The bedrooms were spacious and easy to keep cool for sleeping. I just love European windows and was delighted that the VRBO’s windows had screens to keep the bugs out. The VRBO is on the “quiet” side of the marina and we didn’t hear hardly any noise from neighbors, traffic, partying, etc.We had been travelling in Italy and didn’t bring much luggage with us. Our host had beach towels for us, and advised us how we could rent beach chairs from the nearby hotel. We easily found parking for our large van and could walk everywhere – to the store, the beach, the restaurants and cafes, etc. Split, Trogir, and the airport were conveniently close. One bonus was that Grandma lives downstairs, and she was very patient with my attempts to converse in Croatian. Our host went beyond just being a host and helped with the retrieval of an item we left in Pula. I don’t know how we got our item back without his help.All seven of us would definitely recommend Marin, Marina and the VRBO to our friends who are looking for a quiet place to spend their Croatian summer vacation. "

"Very well equipped house with lots of extras such as ‘Tupperware’ boxes, cling film. Plenty of towels and sunbeds. Pool is very clean and a good temperature. Spacious bedrooms and great bathrooms. Host very responsive. Location is near a main road so there is some traffic noise, but not an issue. 5 minutes to small supermarket, restaurants, beach. Marina village was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely return. "
