"We enjoyed our stay at Top Water Perch. The property was well equipped and extremely beautiful! Since we were attending a wedding in Statesville and had two small children in our party, the property served the purpose of a quiet oasis for our family and was conveniently located to the wedding venue. We just wish we had more time there! Thank you, Jaime, for the kind note left as well as the snack basket. Those little details made the house very welcoming! Plus, our littles loved the snacks!! Thanks again for everything! We truly appreciated the visit."

"This was the perfect family retreat for ages 1 to 69! We played with the kayaks, paddle board and the 4 bonus inner tubes on the dock, then we moved to yard games on the lawn followed by card games on the deck. Because they provided folding chairs, we were all able to sit around the dining table(s) together. There was plenty of space for all and we would highly recommend this lake cottage!"

"House and location were fantastic. Great for all ages. Quiet and wildlife abound. Kids caught fish off the dock - and watch for the deer crossing the drive. House has a spot for everyone to retreat for privacy. Snacks provided by host were a nice touch - especially with kids and upon initial arrival. Host was more than communicative and responsive. Highly recommend - especially families."

"The host was very responsive and accurate in the description. The game changer for our family was the extended space of the “man cave”. This location allowed for a surreal get away location for family members to compete with the golf simulator. Having several large commune areas was also a welcomed experience that allowed for both privacy and family gatherings. "

"The host, AvantStay, was welcoming and they were quick to respond to all communication. The home was clean and very comfortable for our family Christmas. One thing that stood out to us was the arrangement of sleeping quarters. The spaces are nicely separated so each of our four family groups were able to have some privacy. This also helped with noise—some people stay up later. Overall, this was a great stay. Nice neighborhood, clean home, well appointed. And, the nice surprise was that it was tastefully decorated for Christmas. Thank you AvantStay for a great holiday home."
