Upon arrival we were told our reservation was canceled do to overbooking, leaving me and my 11 year old son with no where to stay. I will never use Expedia again and will warn people never to do so.

The property needs some attention. The gym has several pieces of broken equipment and the TV is missing. The elevator has a broken button. This has been this way for several months.

The property is fine. The maintenance needs to be better. The staff was amazing
The room door {room 301)
The latch did not work properly and the door would not come as expected. The door did not close all the way when I left and came back. Thankfully no one entered. They had maintenance check the door and they messed with the latch and said the locks are being replaced next year and I needed to push on the latch a few times to get it to close properly. I was visiting with family and came back to find my room door was propped open again after the staff straightened up.
The check in system
I checked in and everything was fine. That night I was working at the desk and someone opened the door and entered the room. I called down to the desk and they said there was an error and the system put my name in another room and not the one I was assigned. I thought everything was fine and when I came back from getting some food I found that my key did not work. I then had to go down to the desk to get the key assigned to my room again.
The next day I was visiting family I came back and my key did not work again. I went down to the desk and they had only set it for the next day and I still had on more night on my reservation.
Several things made my trip challenging and the staff did their best to correct the issues. I was told management would reach out to discuss what had happened and that has not happened yet.

Unfortunately it was not stated that the swimming pool heater was not working and evidently it is a common issue. I could have booked another hotel if i knew that in advance.
The bathroom floor was not swept. The bathtub had gross marks that looked like somone was cut up in it. The tv kept going out. The people above me were super loud. The back door was broken, but no parking left in front. The bed was comfortable.

There was no water pressure and it took 15 min for water to even get warm for taking a shower. This is not ideal when you need to get moving in the morning.

great place for my short business trip. the staff was amazing. the bed was so comfortable. breakfast was perfect. 3rd floor ice machine was broke but the first night one of the staff members ran and got it for me.

Room was clean. The rest of the Motel was under construction. Breakfast Bar was in a conference room. Not very Good. Overall, outside looks better than inside. Really needs the remodeliing that is getting done. More like a Comfort Inn at a Holiday Inn Express price.
