"I asked for early check in - 3 pm instead of 4 pm. Thankfully they were able to get half of the 6 rooms ready by 3:30. But when I called the front desk person sighed and made it sound like it was going to be a big problem. The rooms were clean, otherwise the staff were nice and mainly just stayed out of our way. Breakfast was fine. I have family in Kalispell and when we told them we booked the Red Lion they said it has had trouble with homeless people around the hotel. We didn’t have any trouble but a security guy walked through when a guy who looked as though he had a rough life walked through the lobby - he left as the security guy came through. Besides that we didn’t have any problems. Also, our kids were disappointed the pool wasn’t working. "

"Excellent stay! The room was spacious, clean and we'll kept. The staff were incredible and welcoming- from the second you walk in to when you leave, you are greeted with a happy and welcomimg smile from the front staff! Breakfast is basic, salt water pool, laundry on site, delicious filtered water in the lobby and fitness center with a Peloton! We will definitely be back"

"Great rooms for a great price! The place is clean, quiet and allows dogs. If we visit Kalispell again, we will definitely stay at this hotel another time. Highly recommend based on location, comfort and cleanliness. The only negatives: No continental breakfast (but lots of places close by), and no pool/hot tub."
