  • Hilltop home above downtown Mariposa, 32 miles up Highway 140 to Yosemite's Arch Rock entrance. Sleeps 8 in 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, with a covered deck, fire pit and bocce court. Pets welcome.

    Outdoors: covered deck with an outdoor projector, hanging chairs and seating for 8, gas fire pit, bocce, cornhole and giant Jenga. Inside: 80" TV, foosball, Ms. Pac-Man, books and toys, full kitchen and Wi-Fi.

    THE OUTDOORS
    - Covered deck under a mimosa tree with an outdoor projector and screen, comfy seating for 8 and 2 hanging chairs
    - Gas fire pit with 6 Adirondack chairs
    - Bocce court, cornhole and giant Jenga
    - Views over town from the deck

    INSIDE
    - Living room with an 80" TV, 2 couches and 2 chairs
    - Game area with foosball, Ms. Pac-Man, books, art supplies and toys for all ages
    - Full kitchen, Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace

    SLEEPING
    - Main bedroom: king bed and a private bathroom with tub/shower
    - Second bedroom: two queen beds
    - Full-size rollaway bed (stored in the main bedroom closet) can be set up in the bedroom or living room
    - Second bathroom is in the hallway with a shower and toilet

    GUEST ACCESS
    You'll have the whole property to yourselves. The gated lower area down the exterior stairs is extra parking only, nothing guest-related down there.

    THINGS TO NOTE
    The house is within walking or biking distance of historic Downtown Mariposa. The property is on a hill overlooking the town, so the walk or bike ride back up to the house is a bit steep.

    The ultimate gateway to Yosemite:
    - Yosemite National Park (Arch Rock Entrance): about 32 miles, an easy, beautiful drive straight up Highway 140, mostly along the Merced River
    - Merced River Recreation Area: about 12 miles (great for swimming and rafting)

    - Pioneer Market: 0.5 miles (a local grocery store to stock up on snacks for your park hikes)
