2/10 Terrible

"The room was outdated and very, very poorly maintained. The curtain sheers were torn. The bathroom grout was disgustingly. There was a hole in the mattress. The lamps were sticky and dirty. The room was musty smelling and on and on. My husband and I couldn’t leave fast enough come morning. Needless to say, we will never book at “Best” Western again, more like Worst Western."

"The room was large and clean to begin with. When we book several months in advance we pick hotels specifically with a pool and a hot breakfast. When we arrived we were not told any of the following information. One, the pool was closed for service. We found out, after going to the pool, that is was closed. We learning that this pool closure is scheduled annually around this time and we should have but were not notified that is amenity was not going to be included. Second, we found that the person who comes in a prepares the breakfast had a scheduling issue and could not open the breakfast area until a hour later than normal. This was 40 minutes after we needed to leave forcing us to get breakfast out every morning for another amenity that we paid for and were not notified we would not be getting during our stay. Then, they never once came in and cleaned the room. We got no clean towels or bedding even after requesting. They did come into the room and took the tip after the first night, but did not in any way clean or neaten the room. No discount for these issues was offered. Lastly I booked and paid for this room on a travel site. When checking in they required a credit card which I provided. After checking out I found that they again charged me for the room. It took me multiple calls between the hotel, the travel site, and my credit card to get the charge removed. I will be staying in this area again next year for this event, however, I will not be staying there."

"The rooms and facilities were clean but had definitely seen better days. Staff were super helpful and breakfast was good for a continental breakfast. Traveled with my dad and he fell in his room when trying to get up from the desk chair when the arm rest broke away completely from the chair( failed repair in the past it looked to be), thankfully he was not injured as he fell against the bed. He also woke during the night to find a bug crawling on his arm( looked to be a silverfish- not a bed bug) also saw one on the desk in his. The room I had had none of those issues just needed to be updated since the carpet had holes(lg) in areas and was also pulling up from the floor. For the location and quiet atmosphere it was still better than most of the surrounding hotels at that price range."

10/10 Excellent

"Room had a mild cleaning product odor but otherwise was clean. Plenty of pillows which noted which were soft and firm. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, our favorite pancake making machine plus many other favorites. Like other properties, noise can be an issue but ear plugs can help with that. I've not stayed anywhere where that's been better. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. This will be on our list for future stays on the area, thank you! Only caveat is a little pricey for a family size room (3 beds) but that's usual."
