"we were in marlinton for work. this apartment was clean, convenient, affordable and quiet. we cook our own breakfast and dinner so were scrambling to prepare the food with minimal cookware and utensils. we would definitely stay here again but bring a tote full of kitchen supplies"

"CJ’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect spot for our family ski trip. Clean, spacious, and so comfortable! The home was so tastefully and beautifully decorated…It was obvious there was a lot of thought and care put into the lay out and design of the house. Waking up each morning to an incredible Mountain View while enjoying breakfast with the whole family was a memory we won’t forget. There were three families in total with 6 kids and it was truly the perfect spot for us to spend time together....

"This is a low-priced motel and it met my expectations. Nothing fancy and nothing bad that I experienced, but I mainly just used the room at the end of the day to eat, relax a bit, and get ready for the next day. It’s maybe slightly run-down by which I mean there were some small holes in the walls where things like towel racks or old locks had been attached and have since been removed. The place however was pretty clean, the bed was comfortable, and the water ran fine. I’ll stay there again when I’m in the area in the future. "
