Marquartstein is centrally located in the Achental valley between the Chiemgau Alps and Lake Chiemsee. Hiking trails start right outside the front door, the Hochplatte is accessible by chairlift, and the Tiroler Ache river flows just a few minutes’ walk away. Lake Chiemsee is a 15-minute drive away.
