  • Entire upstairs 4 bedroom apartment centrally located in Marquette. You can walk anywhere in town from this apartment. Quiet pets allowed with fee! 3 bedrooms have comfortable queen size beds & there is lots of closet space throughout the apt for storage. The 4th bedroom has a full size futon. Living room has a comfy couch & love seat & a 55 inch flat screen w/ cable tv & hdmi capabilities. Kitchen has a stove, fridge, sink & dining table w/ chairs, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, microwave & coffee maker w/ filters. Bathroom equipped w/a shower & tub, towels & toilet paper. Air conditioning in summer. Plowed parking & shoveling in winter. Laundry in basement. This apartment is a mile or so from Lake Superior beaches & Lower Harbor. Directly across the street from Blackrock's Brewery, Third St Bagel, Cafe Bodega & Downwind Sports. Within walking distance of many local restaurants (Third St Bagel, Lagniappe, Vango's, Stucko's, Casa Calabria, Portside, Steinhaus, Landmark, Sol Azteca & Dig’s), pubs & breweries (Blackrocks, Ore Dock, Vierling, Third Base & Flanigan's), wedding venues (Landmark Inn, Masonic Temple, Marquette History Museum, Yacht Yard & Ore Dock Brewery), Marquette General Hospital (Duke Lifepoint) & Northern Michigan University!! The host provide the right information in a timely fashion. Property was very conveniently located for our weekend, was comfortable and very well maintained. Decent kitchen for meals and comfortable living room for everyone to gather. We were there for Northern Michigan graduation and it was 5 minutes from the Superior Dome. Right across the street from Black Rocks for celebrations!

Great location in Marquette

Whole floor of a house in a great location. (I might mention that said great location is right across from Blackrocks brewery, which is perfect for me, but the front rooms were a little loud until the bar closed, not noticeable in any of the other rooms). Highly recommended spot!

Great location in Marquette, close to everything. The only critique would be the room with the futon/pullout couch. It was really not a futon that an adult could sleep on, but we made it work.

We definitely enjoyed our stay! The location was excellent with great parking. The place was very clean and the beds were super comfortable! It is older place and the stairs were a little steep, but not really a problem. I could hear the noise from the street but it was quiet by the time we went to bed! We would definitely be stay here again!!

convenient location

This simple, no-frills, property was close to everything! We could walk to NMU campus, downtown, and lots of cafes right down the block. As noted in the listing, it is right across the street from BlackrocksBrewery, so we could hear music from our rooms and a little bit of street noise from people leaving. There was a fan provided, that helped with white noise, so everyone was able to sleep OK.

We loved our stay at the apartment. It was clean, bright and nicely decorated. The brewery nearby had food trucks daily, we were able to walk to everything in town. There are 18 fairly steep stairs to enter this property and two steps inside the apartment which I did not see in the listing and would be very crucial Information for those with mobility issues. Air conditioning is listed as an amenity, it was only in the living room, though each bedroom did have a fan. If you are looking for a place “in the heart of things” and don’t mind Live music, this is for you. We could hear the bands from the brewery every night, no escaping it.

Another gem in our favorite city

This was our first multi family VRBO rental, but we'd never have known it. Parking was a breeze, and everyone was quiet. The location is terrific - right across the street from Blackrock, and a short walk from everything else. The live music was easily heard from our living room, which we enjoyed. The music ends quite early, so it's not a problem for sleeping at all. During the day, if you have nappers, just put them in the back room with the futon and they'll be fine. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Everyone slept well, so I assume all bed were as comfortable as the one I slept in. Chris let us store our bikes in the garage, which we really appreciated.

Quirky apartment in a great location

Pros: Apartment was clean, location was very convenient to the downtown area and felt safe. Host was very responsive. Bid stack of clean towels in the bathroom. Cons: Air conditioning is only in the living room. Bedrooms just had fans. Old apartment that needs some repairs, large chips in the kitchen counter, ice trays all broken, etc. Bed linens were mismatched and cheap - several of the pillows were stinky and felt like they came from the dollar store. Construction is going on at the brewery across the street, so between the crowds at night and the workers first thing in the morning, it was loud - especially with the windows open in the bedrooms.
