  • A perfect quiet retreat or to start your next Great Adventure. Kayak the lake, bird watch, fish, and then start a campfire at night under the stars! Nestled in the heart of the Hiawatha National Forest there are many trails for hiking, biking, ATV riding, snowmobiling, waterfalls, and bird watching right outside your front door.

    Downtown Munising is a 20-minute drive to local boating, fishing, waterfalls, lighthouses, shopping, restaurants, rock hounding and Pictured Rocks National Lake shore. Perfect getaway for couples, families, and friends. Also in close proximity to downtown Marquette and Grand Marias.

    Cabin includes kitchen with utensils, 2-burner stove, toaster oven, microwave, regular coffee maker, and refrigerator. Fully furnished with electricity, running water and a full bathroom. Charcoal Grill, Table, and Kayaks included. Most cell phones work in the area, but great wifi. We are dog friendly. Dirt Roads to Cabin.

Fishing trip.

This was our first time in the UP. It was beautiful. The house was just the right size for 2 people. My son spent so much time on the lake. I would recommend this place for a nice getaway

Great stag

The cabin was great and centrally located between waterfalls and Munising. It does have steep steps and rural roads but all of that was clearly disclosed and not an issue for us. We loved the location and quiet.
