"We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The Bothy was perfectly decorated and set up for a wonderful stay. The location could not have been better with the ability to walk to the Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle, and to embark upon longer drives and hikes throughout the Dales. "There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. "

It was clean, had a good shower and equipped with everything we needed, including some kids toys and dvd’s which came in handy. "We had a wonderful break at Westbrook House. The cottage worked really well for us and views both from the back and front of the house were stunning. There is plenty to do and walks directly from the house. Farm shops and tearooms and little towns to explore as well as hills to climb are in abundance. There is a local pub a short walk away. We particularly enjoyed the garden and listening to the birds. The house was well equipped and Phil provided all the information we needed for a great stay....

"As ever, heavenly! We spent a lovely 5 days at barn acre. The weather though changeable was excellent and gave us a chance to continue to explore the area. Bolton castle is a must. We were able to return to barn acre knowing that it is a wonderful base. Everything you need for a very comfortable visit. This is our third visit and won’t be our last. "Nice hotel with good facilities. Excellent spa and gym. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was buffet with some options to order from the kitchen. Used park and ride which is only 5 mins on the bus and costs £2.20 return - much easier than the hassle of driving into a city centre at the weekend and trying to find a car park.
