Mountain Views, Hot Tub & 3 Kings

  • Bring your group to Mars Hill Haven for mountain views, a private hot tub and three king bedrooms near Hatley Pointe. This four-bedroom cabin in Scenic Wolf sleeps up to 10, with a separate bunk room, 3.5 bathrooms and a game room with a pool table and Infinity Game Table.



    Approximately 3 minutes from Hatley Pointe and 30–35 minutes from Asheville, the cabin is a convenient base for mountain recreation, university visits and family getaways. Drive times vary with weather and road conditions. Resort access is by road; there is no direct trail or slope access from the cabin.



    SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

    • Main level: king bedroom with en-suite full bathroom; additional half bath

    • Upper level: two king bedrooms and a shared full bathroom

    • Lower level: separate room with two bunk beds, a full bathroom, game room and laundry



    AT THE CABIN

    Relax in the mountain-view hot tub, gather around the gas fireplace or outdoor firepit, and cook together in the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy Starlink internet, a dedicated workspace, smart TVs and private parking for up to five vehicles.



    ACCESSIBILITY

    Step-free access is limited to the main level: one king bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room and main deck. Upper bedrooms and the lower-level bunk room, game room and hot tub require stairs. The entire cabin is not wheelchair accessible; contact us about doorway clearance and bathroom dimensions before booking.



    DOGS & ARRIVAL

    Check-in is at 4 PM; checkout is at 10 AM. Up to two approved dogs under 50 lb each are welcome; the pet fee is $175 per stay. Private parking accommodates up to five vehicles. Mountain roads are steep or winding; follow the arrival directions and prepare for changing winter conditions. AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended in snowy or icy conditions.

We had the best stay at mars hill haven! The kitchen is very well equipped, the house is super cozy and comfortable, and the communication was prompt. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend with our kids are were beyond grateful to get to bring our dog along for the trip. It was the perfect weekend getaway and enjoyed lots of R&R.

Picturesque Mountain Home, Fully Equipped and Close to Adventure!

We had a wonderful stay at the house. It is well equipped, beautiful and in a picturesque location. My boys loved the downstairs kids bunk room and game room. The hot tub was so nice on the chilly fall nights. We explored the local area - quaint small towns, went fishing, hiking, shopping, out to eat, scenic drives and just relaxed. All of the furnishings were comfortable and well taken care of. We played board games and did puzzles on the large dining room table, enjoyed our morning coffee on the large back porch surrounded by mountain views. Overall we had a wonderful weekend away at Mars Hill Haven and would absolutely recommend it to those considering a future visit!

The cabin was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. The downstairs area was so fun with the camp themed room. My grandchildren had so much fun. The view off the deck was gorgeous and we enjoyed the leaves while they were at their peak. At the top of the hill of the road was one of the most beautiful sunset views I have seen over the mountain. We will definitely be back.Angela

Breatanking views

Amazing views relaxing stay. We were able to go on adventures close by and relax at the house. The whole family (4 adults and 2 kids, ages 4 and 8) enjoyed the stay. Would recommend to anyone. There was a few things i forogt to bring but the house was well equipped with it all. Definitely coming back again

Great stay for a long weekend, cabin is well-supplied with entertainment options and kitchen equipment, HVAC cools well on all 3 floors (we visited during a heat wave, if you can call it that at 4300ft altitude), and comfortable furniture, including rockers on the deck for the amazing views! Big Bald is clearly visible on the Tennessee border 3.1 miles away as the crow flies - bring binoculars! The only downside that will keep us from returning, but may be an upside for some, is the master bedroom mattress, which is quite firm. The only other tiny nitpick was not having an EV charger or outlet on front porch for charging, but there are Tesla Superchargers in Asheville and 2 Chargepoint Level 2 chargers in Burnsville (highly recommended to visit the shops and restaurants there).All in all, highly recommended for a summer retreat!

Mars Hill Haven

What an amazing property! Spectacular views , squeaky clean bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty space for the entire gang ( we were 10 people , 5 adults and 5 kids/teenagers), everyone had enjoyed the well chosen amenities ( pool table, games , hot tub) . Plenty bunnies and birds sighted around the cabin, great neighbors as well!Chris and Wendy were extremely responsive when we message them as one of the fireplace had the gas pilot switched off. Looking forward to book it again sometime in the near future

The best weekend!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The home was beautifully decorated and provided everything we needed for our weekend getaway. The hot tub was a huge hit and the dining table was perfect for game nights. Our visit to Hatley Pointe ski resort was unmatched. Such a wonderful experience and it was just a short drive away. We will definitely be returning!

Awesome Stay

The house had everything you could want in a vacation rental. Amazing views, house had everything that we needed ready to go, and plenty of space for our large group. Communication leading up to the visit was spot on and easy. Readily available to answer questions as needed. Our son found a new favorite board game that we all played and subsequently bought one to now have at home. Thanks for hosting us!

Breathtaking views, beautiful home

Beautifully decorated, spacious home. Very Clean with all the amenities! Absolutely loved the location and the spectacular views. Easy access to Asheville makes it ideal for a Biltmore visit. Weaverville also a precious little town that is close by.

Wonderful and spacious with a lovely view and attention to mountain decor, this is a great stay for families!

Great property with plenty of space. Nice Mountain decor. All you need in Kitchen, baths, bedrooms etc.. Beautiful view. A cozy cabin that is no fuss so you can relax and enjoy the cool mountain air. We would definitely love to rent again!!

Awesome views, great location, and a super place!

Our family had such a great time! Great place to walk and hike with views everywhere! Cabin had everything! Kitchen was well stocked and the kids loved the pool table and electric game table and big tv downstairs. Beds were very comfortable. Rocking chairs on the deck were really nice! And the hosts had great communication! Great place to beat the summer heat!!

A comfortable, well-equipped stay with great hosts, beautiful views, and fun amenities for the whole family.

Our entire stay was very comfortable and relaxing. The hosts were amazing and took care of every detail. They answered calls, texts, and messages promptly. The pantries were well-stocked, and the bathrooms had all the amenities we needed. The bathtub was clean, easy to use, and perfect for a relaxing evening while enjoying the view. Both grills were in working condition, and we loved grilling while taking in the night view. Both decks had plenty of space to sit, relax, and enjoy the view. The entire family could be out on the deck, and it still didn’t feel crowded. Asheville was easily accessible—we visited the Arts District and several breweries. The basement/lower level was the highlight of our stay. We spent most of our time at the pool table, while my son enjoyed the hot tub. We also had a great time with the digital infinite game table, which offered a wide variety of games. The upper-level bedrooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable. The view from the hallway was also incredible. The bunk beds were spacious enough for adults and easy to climb. Each bed had its own night light. The bathrooms were clean, and there was plenty of hot water. Everything in the home was new and spotless. There was plenty of parking, and the neighborhood was quiet.
