Le Pescadou is a former fishing hut, situated above the sea, offering you all the essentials for an unforgettable stay: a bedroom with storage, a living room with open kitchen, a bathroom and, above all, an exterior with a breathtaking view of the sea, the island of Frioul and the hill.
You couldn't be closer to the sea! Le Pescadou is perched above a small beach.
Situated in the heart of a typical Marseille neighbourhood, in a quiet lane leading down to the beach, this little house opens onto a south-facing terrace overlooking the sea.
All you need to do to reach the beach is go down one flight of stairs. It's the ideal location for enjoying the gentle pace of life in Marseille: beaches, walks in the Calanques...
This pretty little house (40 m2) is located in a quiet lane, just above the beach. It's an old fisherman's cottage that's been refurbished for added comfort (air conditioning, internet access).
You'll be charmed by its authenticity, its incredible sea view and the sound of the waves.
You enter the main room, which has a sitting area, dining table and open-plan kitchen.
On your left is a bathroom with bath.
At the back of the house is the sleeping area, with a bedroom with a double bed and a large wardrobe offering plenty of storage space.
Please note: The house is located on a common area shared by 3 houses. To access it, you have to pass in front of the neighbouring house. Everyone can use the area in front of their own house.
The cottage is fully equipped to make you feel at home: air conditioning / WiFi / washing machine / dishwasher / bathtub / cot...
We are aware that minor improvements are required (painting in particular), which is why the price is low for such a unique pitch.
Location:
By staying at Le Pescadou, you are choosing to spend your holiday above the water, in a typical district of France's 2nd city.
If you go up the street on your right, you will see the road leading to the Goudes district and Callelongue (long calanque). Exit to the left and you'll reach the town centre, passing the beaches of the bain des dames and the pointe rouge with its waterfront restaurants. Heading up the street, you'll come to the Massif de Marseilleveyre and the Pastré countryside with its famous Rolland cave. This is a typical neighbourhood, sought-after for its quality of life, wedged between the city, the sea and the countryside/mountains.
Just 100 metres away, you'll find a bakery, a fishmonger's (fresh fish from the little port you can see from your terrace), a small casino, a butcher's and a gym... the entrance to the Calanques, a paradise!

_ Bus line N°19 passes at the top of the street and will take you to the town centre.
The boat bus, open from the end of April to the end of September, will take you to the old port by sea (line from the pointe rouge to the old port).
