Airy, comfortable house with lovely pool
The house definitely deserves five stars. It is very well thought out with a practical open plan layout, well-equipped kitchen, excellent WiFi and Bluetooth speaker and very attractive, spacious garden for eating, lounging, swimming and table tennis. The bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of storage. We had a very friendly welcome and they checked us out at 6.45 am without a murmur of complaint. The mosquitoes are vicious so bring plug in deterrents. The local town Auriol was a little disappointing but with easy access to the motorway you can be in the charming port/beaches of Cassis in 15 minutes. Lots of places to visit within easy reach. Our day in the Carmargue was a highlight.

Lovely Provencal style villa with beautiful garden
A lovely villa, tastefully furnished and well equipped. The garden is immaculate with many trees, shrubs and plants providing areas of shade to sit in all day long and the pool is great. Auriol is an authentic French village with a great bakery and it is only 10 minutes walk. Surrounding countryside is beautiful, we'd recommend visiting the Grotto of Sainte Baume and the Parc de Saint Pons (Gemenos). Despite no English being spoken we found the people managing the villa very helpful and they responded quickly when we had electrical damage during a storm. We found nice beaches at Bandol, La Ciotat and Saint Cyr Sur Mer and enjoyed a boat trip around the Calanques from Cassis. Thank you.

Beautiful setting helpful staff
The four of us enjoyed the space and our own bedrooms. I did miss the air conditioning as it got quite hot. Maybe I wasnt looking hard enough? Lovely Villa all the same.

Overall a pretty good accommodation but quite many smaller annoying things Plus: + great swimming pool + great outdoor area / garden Minus: - bathroom locks/keys are not working well, especially kids run the risk of not being able to open the doors again - super heavy chairs without gliders around the dining table making way too much noise on the stone floor - one of the beds is incredibly noisy, impossible to turn without waking up everybody else.. - some kind of night animal lives in the walls around the ground floor bed-room making too much noise (has been reported also in a much older post.. apparently still not fixed) - not a proper grill, but some kind of hot plate "plancha" which in my opinion is just a whole lot worse than a regular grill (also lots of cleaning needed..) - rather small bed-rooms - it's a bit too close to a highway

I'm surprised to see these comments appear for the first time. The plancha is recommended by all users and is also strongly recommended by the authorities, who prefer to avoid barbecues or grills, which are more dangerous because of the risk of fire. It does, however, need to be cleaned after each use, which takes a few minutes when done with hot water. We sleep regularly in the ground floor bedroom and have never identified a suspicious noise. The bedrooms are as described on the website and in the photos available, so there are no surprises there. The dining room chairs are standard, but we will look into the possibility of adding glides to them to avoid noise when moving around. The villa is more than 300 m from the motorway junction and generates no noise or other nuisance due to the distance and configuration of the surrounding land and houses. For the sake of transparency, you had blocked the sink the first time and our colleague had come to unblock it during the week, but we had to call in a drain specialist (cost €180) after you left because you left a lot of household waste (peelings, eggs, vegetables, etc. ....) down the drain in the kitchen sink, which completely blocked the drain. In addition, some glasses have been broken and a container for fresh vegetables has disappeared....

House with mice with a big hidden costs
We rented this house with two families. The property itself is fine. There was nothing to complain about the location and equipment. Some things were rather old. The table tennis cannot be used as it falls apart as soon as one touches it. Unfortunately we had two very bad experiences with the property and it‘s landlord and would therefore not at all recommend staying here. First of all there are mice or something above the floor level bedroom. As soon as the sun rises they move, you hear their small steps and we were only able to sleep with earplugs. When we reported this to the landlord, the answer was „I see what I can do“ followed by no action at all. Secondly, when we left, the landlord charged us a 300 Euro deposit bill because he figured that the house was dirtier than normal, tables, chair and the sofa had spots (even though we never ate there) and some things like the driveway apparently needed repair. We felt that this was made up and would therefore NOT RECOMMEND this house unless you have some extra cash to give away and don‘t like the mice. I have never given a bad review in my live, but this one is asking for it.

This is the first time in 6 years that I've used the deposit because the condition of the house at the end of the rental justified it. Broken lamps, several irreparably stained exterior armchair and interior chair covers, damaged driveway in the parking lot, and general condition requiring several hours of extra cleaning: all real and justified. There are obviously no rodents in the house, which is perfectly kept and maintained. It's a shame to come across people who act in bad faith and disrespect other people's property. Of course, I would advise owners not to rent out their property to them, to avoid any possible damage....

Détente et dépaysement
Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans cette maison idéalement située entre les sentiers de randonnée et le bord de mer! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme et tous les équipements de la villa, notamment la piscine chauffée! Tout était parfait autant l'acceuil que le confort et la propreté , nous y reviendrons avec plaisir pour un nouveau séjour ! Merci aux propriétaires et aux personnes qui gèrent sur place car ils sont très reactifs et à l'écoute.

Villa spacieuse avec un très beau jardin, bien équipé pour passer de bons moments en famille ou entre amis. Les amis de Bruno, qui nous accueillent sur place, sont aux petits soins. Et Bruno répond rapidement à nos demandes.

Vier dagen zonder ijskast: niet ok!
We werden bijzonder vriendelijk onthaald, en de woning voldeed grotendeels aan de beschrijving. Op de derde dag van ons verblijf viel echter de ijskast/diepvries in panne. Bij hoge temperaturen was dit een bijzonder vervelend euvel. De eigenaar was op zich begripvol en nam actie door een technieker te bellen, maar al bij al duurde het vier dagen voor er een oplossing was (een tijdelijke kleine ijskast). Al onze koopwaren waren slecht geworden, we moesten drie keer per dag naar de winkel voor verse producten, geen mogelijkheid om dranken te koelen, etc. Vier dagen was voor ons echt te lang om een oplossing te hebben. Er werd ook geen compensatie voorzien. Daarnaast was het zwembadwater bijzonder zuur, de PH-waarde was helemaal uit balans, met als gevolg dat het water echt brak/zuur smaakte en de ogen zodanig irriteerde dat de kinderen niet meer wilden zwemmen. Dit beterde na een week, maar ook dit is eigenlijk niet ok. Eigenlijk echt jammer, het huis was op zich leuk, netjes, de ontvangst was bijzonder vriendelijk. We hadden al bij al wel een leuke vakantie. De regio zelf en het stadje vielen ons wel wat tegen.

Nous avons passé une belle semaine en famille. La maison est spacieuse, bien décorée, et très très bien équipée. Avons pu profiter du baby-foot, de la table de ping-pong, de la piscine (très bien chauffée pour un mois d’avril !), De la plancha et de la terrasse. La région est magnifique et la maison située à moins de 20 minutes de nombreux sites à visiter. Nous recommandons cette location à cent pour cent.

Parfait séjour en famille
Nous avons apprécié notre semaine de vacances en famille dans cette maison spacieuse. Celle-ci est bien équipée, moderne et très confortable. La localisation était idéale pour accéder aux sentiers de randonnées du Garlaban et de la Sainte Baume. Un grand merci pour l’accueil !

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten
Dieses schöne Ferienhaus ist sehr zu empfehlen; es ist hervorragend ausgestattet und liegt etwas oberhalb der Stadt. Gut angebunden an die Autobahn sind Marseille, Aix en Provence, Ciotat und das wunderschöne Cassis in jeweils etwa etwa 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Noch Ende Oktober war auch das Baden im Meer ein Genuss. Die Vermieter reagieren umgehend auf jede Anfrage, klasse.

Perfekter Urlaub in der Provence
Hier finden Sie alles was das Herz begehrt. Ein gut ausgestattetes Haus in einer atemberaubenden Umgebung. Das Meer, die Berge und spannende Städte sind nicht weit entfernt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und sind in jeder Hinsicht zufrieden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Une belle villa à la hauteur de nos attentes ; un accueil sympathique des gérants (autre que le propriétaire) et du technicien (piscine...) ; dommage que le propriétaire relativise le désagrément lié à la panne du lave-vaisselle (3 jours sur 7) et refuse de verser une indemnisation directe en proposant une remise pour un séjour futur alors qu'il sait que cela ne nous convient pas.

Très belle villa décorée avec beaucoup de goût au cœur d’une belle région. Idéal pour découvrir Aix en Provence, les massifs de Sainte Victoire et Sainte Baume ainsi que Cassis et ses calanques. Villa très agréable et confortable, bien agencée au niveau des espaces communs et individuels. Super équipée au niveau de la cuisine et des loisirs extérieurs. Propriétaire très réactif. Sehr schönes Haus in wundervoller Gegend
Wir waren über Pfingsten mit unserer Familie (zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder unter zwölf) in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Die Lage ist perfekt für Touren durch die Provence! Das Haus selbst mit einem großen Pool, einen großen Garten und großzügigen Innenraum sehr einladend. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und wir haben uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt. Es gibt eine große Plancha und eine wunderbare Möglichkeit draußen zu essen. Darüber hinaus gibt es Lounge Sesseln im Außenbereich und Liege Stühle am großen Pool. Alles sehr gepflegt und darüber hinaus auch sehr schön. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Nous avons passé (4 adultes, 4 enfants) une très bonne semaine dans cette belle villa sur les hauteurs d'Auriol, entre visites (La Ciotat, Marseille, Aix-en-P) et randos (calanques Cassis, massif de la Sainte-Baume). Les enfants ont bien profité de l'extérieur et du babyfoot ! Adresse à retenir.

Superbe sejour
Un tres beau sejour dans cette superbe villa, tres bien equipee, un jardin magnifique avec de tres beaux oliviers et lauriers avec vue sur la montagne autour. Piscine suffisamment grande pour faire quelques brasses, tous les jeux mis a disposition amusent et occupent autant les jeunes que les moins jeunes. L'interieur est decoree avec beaucoup de gout. Le proprietaire repond toujours rapidement aux messages. Le personnel sur place est un peu moins reactif mais cela n'a pas trop perturbe le sejour. Recommandation absolue.

Mooie vakantiewoning voor 2 gezinnen
Mooi huis in een rustige buurt en kort aan alle faciliteiten (supermarkt,bakker,apotheek,...) Bij aankomst was het zwembad fris en ook voorzien van warmtepomp maar deze wordt niet gebruikt wat wel duidelijk staat bij de omschrijving (verwarmd vanaf april) dit dus misschien aanpassen. Er staat in de omschrijving dat er ook volumetrisch alarm voorzien is rond het zwembad, dit werkt helaas niet wat wel jammer is als je reist met kinderen wat net kunnen zwemmen of helemaal niet. Voor de rest is het huis goed in orde en voorzien van alles enkel mag het bij aankomst properder afgeleverd worden.

La maison est nettoyée intégralement après chaque locataire et livrée propre avec tout le linge de maison et de toilettes pour les locataires entrants. L'alarme de piscine a été remplacée cette semaine. Nous vous souhaitons un bon séjour.

Une magnifique villa
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine, l'accueil est chaleureux on s'est senti tout de suite chez nous la maison est spacieuse propre belle et possède tout le matériel dont on peut avoir besoin. Le jardin est magnifique nous avons pu prendre les repas en extérieur avec une magnifique vue. La piscine est superbe avec un coin grand bain et un coin moins profond pour les enfants nous nous sommes régalé. Merci pour ce formidable séjour.

Vacances au paradis
Nous avons passés de merveilleuses fin de vacances dans cette villa où tout le confort est présent. On sent bien que les propriétaires se soucient du bien être de leur vacanciers, des petits échantillons ds les salles de bain à notre arrivée jusqu’a la piscine nettoyée deux fois par semaine et les salles de jeux pour enfants... tout y est ! Nous ne manquerons pas d’y retourner et de la conseiller.... enfin peut être pas trop😉 Un véritable havre de paix pour des vacances réussies et reposantes!

Tolles,sehr sauberes und gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus mit schönem Ausblick auf das St.Baume- Massif. Ideale Lage in der Provence für Wanderungen im St.Baume-Massif, im Calanques-Nationalpark oder für Ausflüge nach Aix-en-Provence, Cassis oder andere Orte am Mittelmeer. Uns hat die gute Anbindung an die Autobahn und die schnelle Erreichbarkeit oben genannter Orte begeistert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Auriol und Umgebung. Ausflüge nach u.a. Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, Sanary-sur-Mer. Das Haus, die Terasse und der Pool: Alles war wunderbar. Besonders hat uns die „Plancha“ (Grillplatte) gefallen, die wir rege benutzt haben. Die Kinder haben sich besonders über gutes WLAN und zahlreiche Steckdosen gefreut. Klare Weiterempfehlung

Week in fijn huis in de Provence, Auriol
We hebben een hele fijne familiebijeenkomst gehad in Auriol. De benedenverdieping huis-, woon-, zit kamer en keuken zijn prima. De tuin (met zwembad) is een plaatje en daar hebben we dan ook volop van genoten. De kamers boven hebben verschillende bedafmetingen daar moesten we wat mee schipperen. Het tweepersoonsbed is smal en het stapelbed is echt voor kinderen, daarentegen zijn de twee losse bedden praktisch. Het huis is goed onderhouden en je wordt prima ontvangen door Renée (spreekt alleen frans). In huis is echt alles aanwezig en je mag ook alles gebruiken, heel gastvrij.

Une superbe maison conviviale et facile à vivre
Mon mari et moi avons choisi cette maison pour recevoir nos amis et nos enfants et fêter avec eux nos anniversaires. Tout le monde a adoré l’endroit : une maison conviviale et un extérieur avec piscine et jardin faits pour passer d’excellents moments en famille ou avec des amis. La décoration est superbe, les équipements au top et les personnes qui nous accueillent aux petits soins. On ne rêve que d’une chose : revenir et y séjourner un mois car 15 jours, c’est vraiment trop court pour découvrir tous les trésors de la région et profiter des transats au bord de la piscine ! Un grand merci aux propriétaires de veiller si bien au bien-être de leurs locataires.

Voyage au pays de Pagnol et des santons!
Villa très confortable avec un beau séjour lumineux ouvert sur la piscine, idéal pour accueillir nos 2 familles de 4 à Noël! Les propriétaires sont accueillants et à l'écoute. La localisation est parfaite pour découvrir les calanques, les promenades dans le massif de Sainte Baume, Marseille etc. Bref, je recommande!

Nous avons passé un semaine de vacances merveilleuse dans cette très jolie maison simple, pleine de charme, très bien équipée, très propre et décorée avec goût. Très bien située géographiquement, nous avons visité le bord de mer et aussi l'arrière pays provençal. Le repos était très agréable au bord de la piscine. Les commerces sont tout proches, le secteur est très calme. Merci à Mme et M Ducastel pour leur disponibillité et leur gentillesse, Merci aussi à Renée et Patrick pour leur accueil très chaleureux malgré notre arrivée tardive. Nous sommes prêts à revenir dès l'été prochain. Merci
