Great two day stay for goofing around Marseille. Close to the airport and train for longer journeys that would be tough for car (parking in most tourist areas is horrible.) Close to grocery stores and some fast food. Simple but clean.

Everything was great, the staff was nice. The hotel is in much better condition than the Ibis I stayed at next door. The only problem I had was joining the Wifi. I don't know if it was my phone or their connection or the combination of the two. I ended up using my mobile internet instead.

The hotel is very basic, but comfortable. All staff encountered were really helpful. Very close to the airport. I booked this hotel because it was recommended for a reliable airport shuttle service. I only found out after booking the the shuttle service was only starting at 07:00 am i needed to be at the airport at 04:00 and eneded having to book a taxi.

Room was extremely small and smelly. Bathroom was so small that it was like what I imagine that a bathroom on a spaceship would be like. there was a smelly puddle under the sink. Staff was very friendly and made an effort to help.

Positives - staff was kind, the beds and linens were clean, the bedroom’s cleanliness was acceptable. The bathroom was completely unacceptable. The toilet and sink were clean, but the shower was moldy and the floor was filthy. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Overall the hotel felt grimy.

There was unclear communication from the staff about where to meet at the airport for the shuttle and that the shuttle would not say "The Originals" on it, but instead a third company. The location is a little sketchy which made me very thankful for the security fence around the property. The restaurant offered amazing cold offerings on a buffet, however we were unable to enter the restaurant until 1900. There was not a shuttle available for our early morning flight, however the staff helped coordinate a taxi.

>Car is mandatory , or prepare a budget for moving from the hotel (complicated/not reachable by bus) although there is the possibility to book a free shuttle (from another hotel, only at each hour departure, not at the time you want) and with the shuttle go to the train station (Vitrolles airport station) for Marseille (€11± one way 15/20mn) or elsewhere, >you have to call to be picked up if your phone number is working towards their hotline, mine (IT) worked only once when I took off the plane at arrival, then never again, (turned into hell for the free ride from the station) >so many maintenance details have to be reviewed, curtains ultra dirty, walls with spots, broken phone in the room, the plug not updated for devices (had to buy 12€ in their machines) ,air conditioning antiquate - but better than nothing, tap on the bathroom almost remained in hand when you open the water, >dinner price buffet : 25€ ?!!(not on week end ) but discrete breakfast for 10€ >personal should smile more , mostly after 1 week there , > the only window of the room was very small >pictures not accurate with reality
