"We were welcomed by John when we checked in. It was our 25th anniversary and in our room was the sweetest card and balloons to honor the occasion. So extremely thoughtful! The room was adorable and very comfortable. It had been outfitted with all the amenities you can think of…pastries and snacks, board games, toiletries, and a full kitchen. The only thing I regret is not staying longer in this charming B and B! We will absolutely be back when we visit Woodstock!"
"Had road view but was ok for the amount of time spent there. Located in perfect spot for easy walking to grocery store and downtown shopping. Hotel offers complimentary Coffee Bar, waters, cookies and even bicycles to ride"
"Loved having water / coffee stations on each floor! We liked the location being outside the town center & enjoyed being right on the river. It was pleasant & relaxing to sit on the balcony and just enjoy the view. We hope to return one day!
TIP FOR HOTEL — People who just want hot water are having a difficult time figuring out how to make the machine do hot water only. — They could really use a sign with instructions.
TIP FOR FUTURE TRAVELERS— You must have a car. The area between the hotel & stores doesn’t have a safe place to walk beside the road. "
"This was the perfect place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Woodstock was a place we frequented throughout our dating years and our marriage. This home was close to town but private. It was absolutely beautiful inside and easy to get to. The owners were communicative from the moment we booked and responded promptly with any questions. It was so easy. We were able to go into town, and come back and relax at the house. It was absolutely perfect. It was as advertised as well. There were no surprises. We will definitely go back and we're looking forward to bringing our kids with us next time."
