"Nice, clean, new place, good location to the boat harbor. Only real negative was the lack of a front desk for check in. Apparently it closes at 6pm and arrangements for later check-in need to be made before 6...in our case, due to a flight cancellation, the reservation was made after 6pm. However, once we were able to find a representative to help, she was very helpful, pleasant, and ensured we got in the room just fine."

"Little Fern Cottage is even better than advertised! The host was very responsive to all of my questions and concerns. We were given a welcome packet that had the ferry schedule, golf cart rental companies, etc. everything to make our stay on Elbow seamless. Location is a short walk or golf cart ride to everything you want to explore. We will be booking again soon. "

"It looked like all the rooms have a clear view of the sea and marina. This hotel is in need of a good refurbishment. The main pool , bar and place to eat are a walk away from the rooms. Not in the main building. On the positive side The staff are great but it’s overpriced for it’s current condition "

"Terrific Villa. Everything worked as advertised. We really liked that the patio has a nice new dining table with umbrella and has some nice vegetation and shrubbery that provides a lot more privacy that many of the villas. The beach here is unbeatable. Many days there were less than 50 people on the 3 miles stretch of paradise. The sand is like sugar. Brian is a great host and very responsive to questions. He also provided a lot of info on the area before the trip. 5 STARS! "

"March 11-16, 2026. Absolutely a rental you won’t want to miss. As you approach the property and as you walk in you can tell the owners have spent lots of time thinking of everything. The house and the property are truly amazing. Very will equipped. We had everything we needed the whole time there. There was nothing but groceries needed to cook meals. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. I will return again as well. Even my kids and their significant others are planning a trip to experience this property. The neighbors are friendly. So many turtles. Shells daily along the beaches. Although many in the guest book had mentioned seeing rays we never spotted any. The cabana by the beach was a nice place to hangout during the day for relief from the sun while laying in the hammock and feeling the breezes. I was in contact with the owners and they are caring and friendly too. I’m already looking forward to booking this property again and again in the future. Tim ShookNew Braunfels, TX"
