Sanctuary House - a Wooded Retreat

Sanctuary House is located in Firefly Mountain, a private, gated community surrounded by Western North Carolina's most spectacular natural amenities (Hiking, rafting, horseback riding and fishing). Walk to our close neighbor, the 2100 mile Appalachian Trail. Discover the rushing waters of the nearby Laurel and French Broad Rivers. Relax in the natural hot mineral baths of historic Hot Springs, NC. Enjoy access to the culture, arts, entertainment and medical facilities of nearby Asheville, NC.

​​​​​​​Sanctuary House can be rented with its six bedrooms. The house has two floors with each floor having three bedrooms, a full kitchen, living room and baths. Views of the Pisgah forest from all rooms. Laundry facilities are available. Elevator access is provided to all levels. It is peaceful, quiet and relaxing yet close to all kinds of activities, shopping and restaurants.

The property is absolutely amazing! The house is pristine and the grounds are well kept! I’ve never stayed in a place that is a well appointed! The kitchen is stocked with so many utensils and dishes! The cupboards are well stocked with coffee, cleaning supplies and toiletries!! Our experience could not have been better!

Sanctuary Way was delightful. The ease of check in. The house was welcoming and beautiful and stocked with everyday necessities, so much so that we didn't to leave the house for anything. My group of ladies enjoyed it tremendously... memories were made.

Perfect Home

This property suited the needs of our group perfectly. As a group of sports car lovers who enjoy driving our cars in the mountains, this home was perfect. We experienced a flat tire and this garage even had a jack so we were able to jack the car up to get the tire repaired. The beds in this home were outstanding and there was a paved road all the way to the home.
