"As if being in a castle isn’t awesome enough, the staff is so friendly, accommodating and helpful. The grounds and rooms were exceptional. Gorgeous. The restaurant for dinner had amazing food and service. I honestly can’t say enough about this property. Two thumbs up, 5 stars, whatever best ratings I can possibly give for a hotel - I bestow upon this hotel. You absolutely MUST stay here, even if for just a day. It’s totally worth it! "

"What a wonderful property- beautiful, clean and good location. Christiana was lovely and welcoming. Our room was large, especially by European standards, with a gorgeous bathroom - very luxurious. The breakfast was beautifully displayed, included many special foods we’ve not encountered at other hotels and was delicious. The plentiful free parking made this stay easy and quite a value. "Hmm, ja, was soll man sagen... Die Zimmer wurden nur nach Rückfrage gemacht, also meistens gar nicht. Handtuchwechsel nach 5 Tagen? Nur nach Aufforderung. Bettwäsche sollte auch mal nach einer Woche gewechselt werden, ist hier nicht Standard. Die Betten sind durchgelegen, müssten dringend erneuert werden. Die Gastronomie ist gut, der Wein könnte in einer Weingegend schon etwas günstiger sein."
