Welcome to **The Private Escape**, a quiet and private retreat nestled within a peaceful estate in the heart of wine country. Surrounded by the charm of nearby vineyards, this cozy hideaway offers the perfect escape for relaxation and rejuvenation whilst remaining walking distance from Martinborough township.



Enjoy the tranquility of your secluded space, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the local wineries and tasting rooms or take a dip in the communal pool in the warmer months (late October - April) after a game of tennis in the manicured estate tennis court. Whether you`re seeking a romantic getaway or a restful retreat, **The Private Escape** offers comfort and calm in a serene, estate setting.



Guests will have access to the entire property.



Please call us between 9am and 5pm, 7 days a week during your stay if you have any questions. OR after hours only in an emergency.



No parties and no outside noise after 10pm.



The Pinot Grove communal pool is open Labour weekend through to Easter.

Martinborough birthday for Dad

Short stay for a birthday with family. Beautiful clean house had everything we needed. Manager helped with booking when i had issues with the platform. Highly recommend.

Martinborough Retreat

The house was spacious, warm and well appointed. The house had all modern conveniences. Wood-burning fire put out a lot of heat and made our stay very relaxing and cosy. The master bedroom was spacious and the bed comfortable. The whole house had plenty of room. The place was very clean when we entered. I’d come again, for a stay.
When we got to the house, we noticed that the cavity door rail was broken. We couldn’t closed the doors and make the lounge dining room kitchen airtight and draught free.
Striker plate in third bedroom needs to be repaired.
Cavity sliding door is broken. We tried to move it but it had come off the railing.
