"Property was not well maintained and did not have adequate bath linens, dirty sheets, no kitchen towels no toilet paper, 4 forks and 3 spoons,1 very small mixing bowl, etc. nice home and in good area just poor management. "

We thought we didn't have hot water in a few sinks but the plumbing was switched so ended up having plenty of hot water. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."

"This place was perfect for our girls weekend! It was a beautiful, spacious, and homey cabin. There were so many amenities: the pool, a basketball court, lounge chairs by the fire, access to the lake. The location is a short walk into town, but would not recommend doing the walk after dark because the road leading into it is very poorly lit at night. We loved our stay so much that we all plan on renting it again with our families and children!"

"Our entire family ages 75 to 10 enjoyed our stay at Homestead House and all the amenities it had to offer. The kitchen was well stocked and the home was very clean. The property is private and offers something for everyone. The towns of San Marcos and Wimberley offer a lot too!"
