A luxurious cabin quietly tucked away in the woods, pet friendly, WiFi

Buck Haven features two king bedrooms with plush bedding. Custom hickory cabinets, hickory floors and custom American made cedar log furniture decorate the cabin. You can relax on the comfortable Lazy Boy furniture in the great room and enjoy the stunning floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace. The main floor bathroom includes a large jetted tub and a walk in shower. . The kitchen has granite counter tops, GE Slate HE appliances and is stocked with everything you will need to fix a delicious gourmet meal. You can grill outdoors in any weather on the covered porch.

The cabin is 1250 square feet, wheelchair accessible with a concrete pad and ramp to the porch. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 and ½ half baths, sleeps up to 6 and is furnished with everything you need for an enjoyable stay including Dish Network and Frontier Wi-Fi Internet. The Wi-Fi is steady but not super fast.

Bath stool, vacuum suction cup holder for the hand-held shower wand and elevated toilet seat available on request.

We also have a one bedroom cabin within walking distance from Buck Haven. That listing is the Dove's Nest VRBO 1294802. Both properties are thoughtfully situated for privacy yet close enough for friends and family to rent and have a great time together.

Perfect stay 10/10. This place is equipped better than any locale we’ve ever visited. Not only are the necessities covered, the kitchen along is stocked to the hilt, with everything you may need to cook a gourmet dinner. We have and will stay here again, and highly recommend to anyone considering this location.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The house has everything you need and it our pups were very happy it is also pet friendly! We enjoyed the piece and quiet. We had a very enjoyable stay at the cabin. It exceeded our expectations. It was clean and decorated beautifully. There was a welcome note and a bag of snacks waiting for us, The deck was a great place to spend time reading and relaxing. The cabin was perfect for our older dogs, since there were no steps to get inside and the deck was enclosed. The host gave so much information which was helpful. We will definitely stay here again if we will be in the area.

What a relaxing vacation! It's a gorgeous property set atop a hill in the forest and very private. The house itself is well-appointed and extremely comfortable, complete with handmade furniture throughout. The surrounding area is fantastic to explore, especially Capacon Park. Both Janie and Cy are wonderful people. Will definitely recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful stay.

This property is amazingly clean and it’s our first stay at this one Buchaven. We have stayed at the one directly across named Doves Nest. We have been coming to berkley springs 2 times a year since 2013. But Janie’s properties are the best and most enjoyable. Will be back again

What a peaceful and beautiful haven! This cabin is a gem! The beauty begins before you even step inside, with a full porch overlooking the woods, complete with rockers and a big swing. Once you’re inside, absolutely every detail is well thought out and amazing, and everything is so welcoming. We’ve never encountered a more gracious and kind host - thank you again Janie!! There’s plenty of room, and for us, the wheelchair accessibility was such a gift. Prepare to relax and enjoy stargazing or just hanging out and playing games. We look forward to coming back!

Wonderful cabin

We had a wonderful stay at Buck Haven. The cabin was super clean, updated, and beautiful. We loved sitting on the quiet back porch, and the kitchen had nice amenities to prepare meals. The property's architectural design is very well done & attention to detail is awesome. The cleanliness was impeccable. Perfect get away

We had a wonderful weekend at Buck Haven. Janie and Cy, the hosts have thought of everything to make for a perfect weekend stay. The cabin is so comfortable and the views are amazing. We love sitting out on the deck and enjoying the scenery. Check in and out is very easy and they were very flexible. This was the second time we have stayed there and we hope to be able to do it again next year.

An amazing property

The location is perfect, quiet and secluded however just minutes to a great state park with lots to do. And about 8 miles to town. The cabin itself is stunning, every amenity you can ask for. The hosts were so kind and responsive.

From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, everything was perfect. Communication was fantastic, everything we could ever need was provided (including some snacks and fresh eggs) and was spotless. Amazing Cabin

We have stayed in other cabins over the years and this one is definitely at the top of the list for being the best. It was so neat, clean, and well organized. We were able to unpack our things and begin to relax immediately. Janie was great to work with and gave us good suggestions for places to eat and things to do. This is definitely a little jem for sure.

Christmas week

This cabin is amazing! Beautiful wood, stone fireplace, soaring ceilings and windows, with beautiful craftsmanship. Fully appointed with so many special touches ... fruit bowl, fresh eggs, numerous spices, Kcups, and complimentary toiletries. The wraparound, covered deck was such a peaceful, quiet place that the dog and I didnt want to go inside! I highly recommend!

Little piece of heaven

My wife and I both work many hours and we were looking for a place to unplug from the hustle. We wanted to unwind with our two dogs and enjoy some peace and quit. The cabin did not disappoint. We found ourselves whispering to each other outside because of how quit it was. The location was absolutely perfect. Many trails close by along with some state parks. The cabin was absolutely immaculate with its cleanliness as well as the wonderful amenities.check in was a breeze and uneventful. I highly recommend this wonderful property if you want to get away from the day to day grind.

Long weekend in Berkeley Springs

We came to this cabin for a long weekend getaway and had a lovely time. The cabin has everything we needed and more, and was very quiet and comfortable. It is within a short drive to Berkeley Springs for grocery, restaurants and the spa but far enough away that we didn’t have any noise from town. We had only one negative which was a sewage odor in the home intermittently through the weekend, which wasn’t enough to disrupt our stay and was reported to the manager. Otherwise gorgeous cabin and location and we look forward to coming back!
