"The cottage was perfect for us & our Aussie Shepherd. We really enjoyed our stay & spent a lot of time relaxing outside enjoying the sun, the garden & watching the birds. There are a lot of different outdoor areas to sit in so you can find a place in the sun or shade any time of the day. Oh and the fire pit at night was great.The cottage had everything that we needed & we felt very much at home, the information provided was thorough & covered any questions we had.We would happily stay there again. "After watching the ABC segment filmed a long time ago, it is a credit to the owners to see how lovely and relaxing the accommodation is now.The Blacksmith’s Cottage is perfect for a couple. We bought cheese and wine with us as we’d read the reviews and knew a full kitchen wasn’t included. A microwave, crockery and tea/coffee making supplies were so it was perfect. The donkeys on the property were very friendly and we managed to see the Highland cattle later in the evening. Overall a great night away and highly recommended."
