There was a bathtub, not just a shower. The breakfast was great! The front desk staff were absolutely awesome, very welcoming. Other than the pool heater not working, we were not able to go swimming, it was an awesome place to stay. I'll be going back to this location about 6 times a year on business.

I had no issue with the hotel because I didn’t stay there. My issue was Expedia booking me in the hotel that was in the right town but five states away from my location. Zero support in the matter nor could I reschedule or cancel due to their/our mistake. Not impressed with their policy’s.

They changed our room without telling us from a 2 queen and pull out couch to a king and a pull out couch. The pull out couch is NOT okay for adults to sleep on, it was miserable and we paid way too much money to sleep on that terrible bed. Very disappointed with the front desk person who was very sarcastic while telling us that he had go change our room.

Does not resemble a Holiday Inn Express

First the greeting by the desk was not pleasant. We were checking in at 3:15, not early, but were told the room might not be ready yet. When we requested the roll-in bed advertised on the website we were told it was not offered at their motel they were a franchise. He said not all of the franchises provided the same services. He said we could pay for a second room. I had to return to the desk to have the keys programmed. He complained about 'nothing ever working' while trying to get the computer to print. The indoor pool heater was not operating. The breakfast was continental despite having the equipment to provide the warm breakfast buffet advertised. The room refrigerator froze our food. The room was reserved for four but had the towels and bedding for four. We ended up purchasing an inflatable mattress. The roll in bed and the buffet breakfast were the reasons we were staying at this motel.

Disappointing stay

We specifically stay at Holiday Inn Express everywhere we go because it's always a good experience, until now. We just needed a place to get some rest after a day at the water park with the kids. It was kinda late when we got there and notice mold on the shower walls and water dripping on the toilet/floor. The hotel was booked and kids were tired so we just dealt with it. Middle of the night, bathroom was soaked. Opened the toilet lid to catch some of it. Heard that dripping all night. Couldn't use it without getting rained on by gross water so we had to walk to the bathroom by the front desk each time. It was gross. No toilet paper. Then come morning time the table and everything on it was covered in hundreds ants. Such a disgusting and disappointing experience and couldn't get out of there quick enough. When we talked to the front desk, twice, we were told Oh Sorry We'll put in a work order. We have a couple more weekend trips coming up and planned on using IHG but now I'm not sure. Definitely won't be using the one in Marysville ever again.
