Dear Guests, Thank for your review, We appreciate your comment about the hairdryer, we will look at replacing it with a bigger one. We are not sure what you mean by weak power? Most of our guests don't like to stay in their bedrooms, they like to come out to the living room or dining room area and sit and talk and have a drink. There is also outdoor furniture outside all the bedrooms where guests can sit if they choose too!

It certainly was an interesting breakfast with guests from different countries. it's just two bedrooms in the house that share a bathroom, usually families rent these two bedrooms, with the self-contained unit above the garage has it's own private bathroom.

It was no problem to welcome you into our B&B after a late arrival this does happen sometimes. Pleased you found your bedroom and breakfast nice, we like to make sure we cater for our guests requirements, and give suggestions on places to visit on their holiday.

Dear Chung Shun Au, If you had taken the time to read out our welcome message we sent to you when you made your booking, you would of noticed that we written our checking in times. We have re-posted again for your information the message we sent to you below. Also if you had bothered to read on our web-page, it quite clearly says we do not operate a 24/7 front desk service. It also says if you are going to arrive late to notify in advance, You didn't reply to our message we sent you and you didn't message us in advance that you were going to be late. We are also not a Hotel we are a Bed & Breakfast, a big difference. When you hadn't arrived by 10:00 pm we retired for the night presuming that were not coming and made your booking a no show and had every right to claim from your credit card. We turn our phones off from 10:00 pm as we too like yourself like to have a good sleep with out being disturbed as we have had in the past with calls from people making inquiries many months in advance about accommodation, sometime two or more calls. You mentioned that you found the house in darkness? This is because you more than likely went to the wrong house, which guests from your country have done many times, our neighbors probably did not want to get up at that time of the night to answer the door for their safety.Its very unfortunate Chung Shu that you had to sleep in your car as you couldn't find any other accommodation here in Matamata, and you you wouldn't that late at night. We hope that you have learnt from this that you will read accommodation policies. Dear Wing Yee, Thank you for your review, To be fair on us, we are not a hotel we are a Bed and breakfast, there is a difference. When you or guests make a booking with us we open our home to you and we told you when you arrived that that you are very welcome to come and watch TV with us. and use any part of the house. The only rule we make is that guests do not use the kitchen to prepare their meals due to health & safety requirements. We provide fans and heaters in the bedrooms for the comfort of our guests.
