"I’ve stayed at Kimpton and Ritz and no one has ever provided the type of customer service we experienced here. It is beyond exceptional and the Assistant general manager (I forgot her name, but she wears glasses and has a Mohawk) was exceptional. I manage at a high level within my company and I would be honored to have someone like her on my team. All the staff from the kitchen, bar, and front desk were super friendly and nice. This is my 17th stay in Charlotte and I’ve stayed at a different hotel each time and this by far takes the cake! I do think the rooms could be a little more updated to be more modernized, but they were clean and spacious so that’s my only negative. Pros: -dinner, breakfast, 2 complimentary cocktails and popcorn made the stay almost feel like an all inclusive resort. I didn’t have to purchase dinner or breakfast which is a real money saver. -staff was exceptional from the top to the bottom. In my years of managing and leading people, I know that good customer service comes from good management. The bar is high and it seems that the leaders ensure that everyone carries out that standard. Honorable mention for a guy that was visually impaired and one of the staff members assisted in fixing his food. My grandma was blind for the last 15 years of her life so seeing people help those who can’t help themselves will always warm my heart. -amenities were nice -lots of free parking Cons: -location was just okay based off my needs -rooms need updating"

"The only thing I didn’t like is the way the AC unit was set up in the design of the room for the wolf den the kids where hot and the adults where cold … if you look at the set up there needs to be more of a flow the divider Of the wolf den and the queen bed at the top need to put an opening so the AC could flow to the wolf den and not bounce off and freeze the adults in the bed"
