He could spot the smallest bird at the top of a tree whilst driving. He found us our first Leopard - amazing. "I have been in this lodge 2 days with my sons. I liked the style, the view and the staff. But in particular the surrounding area was amazing small rivers, lakes, wildlife was all there! Lions with cubs, a family of hyenas, antelopes, giraffes, wildebeests, bison… beautiful!"

"Excellent place to step off into the Okavango Delta, Merremi Wildlife Reserve or head to Chobe National Park. Staff are helpful, and provide a range of services and products. Only problem I had was the zipper on my tent was broken and I was given no keys to the lock (for me that was not a problem)"

"We arrived at the Rivernest Boutique Cottages, and were told that they had been overbooked (though we had booked online several months prior) and that we were to be moved. We were sent to a different hotel a few minutes drive away, and given a room. The hotel we were re-booked at was cheaper than Rivernest, and we did not receive a credit or a refund of any kind. We had heard good things about this place, but unfortunately got to experience none of them. Good luck!"
