"We were greeted warmly upon arrival. Check in was very efficient and quick. The property and lobby were very clean. We had reserved two rooms and were pleased to have rooms next to each other. The breakfast choices were adequate: cereal, fresh fruit, waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, juices and coffee. The breakfast area was well-maintained. Our rooms were welcoming. clean, and in very good condition. An added bonus? Each room has a ceiling fan over the bed! Not only did this help to make it seem more like we were at home, but during the warm Texas nights it is a refreshing feature. Each time we left, then returned to the hotel, we were met by a smiling employee/owner. I felt as if they were welcoming us into their home. Check out was effortless and quick. We are looking forward to our next trip to Lubbock and our stay at Guest House Inn!"

"It was a terrible stay. The bathroom in our room was so dirty. Mens beard hair in the sink, long women’s hair on the bathroom floor. Toothpaste splatter on the counter, faucet and mirror. Dirty counter top. Our toilet paper roll had a couple of squares on it, they didn’t even bother to replace it with a new roll. When we told the front staff all they said was sorry about that and did nothing to try and make it right. All this had us questioning everything in the room. Not a good night. "

"Great price, but it seemed the most attention was to the beds. Kitchenette area needed a major update (rust on units). Very dim lighting and an incredibly small TV made it basically pointless to watch from the bed across the room. Friendly staff, but I don’t think I will stay here again. "

"Excellent stay, would definitely stay here again. The staff was excellent, very friendly. The pet fee was great, not overly charged as other places are. We forgot a cell phone and the staff quickly called us to notify us for pick up; which was great because imgine being miles away and having to come back for it. We even got a complementary drink form their Lounge. The "hot breakfast" was good too. I'm extremely happy with the stay. Would definitely recommend."

"Beautiful home in a perfect location close to campus. The space was thoughtfully decorated and very welcoming, which made it feel comfortable right away. It was also well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again."

"The house had a rustic yet modern chic aesthetic. It was exactly as described/pictured. Visited Texas Tech w/the family. Plenty of room for everyone, Keurig was appreciated, and the rain shower in the master was amazing. It was the little added touches that we appreciated the most like complimentary toothbrushes and razors. You have no idea how handy those things come in until you need them. The kitchen had everything you need and then some for cooking. The complimentary sugar, creamer, and tea packets were very thoughtful. Excellent communication with the property manager. Check in and check out were easy. We will definitely be renting this home again as we will be visiting Tech often in the coming years. "
