It's thoughtfully decorated and provisioned with everything you need to get started on your vacay. Owners are readily available for communication and care about your experience. "We rented the Loon Lodge over the Labor Day weekend to celebrate my husband's first days of retirement. Loon Lodge is an adorable 658 sqft cottage but the open layout doesn't feel small at all, and the best part is that it's pet friendly! It is tastefully decorated with the bedroom and bathroom seems to have been recently updated. The screened in porch gave us spectacular sunset views each evening. The location is awesome, we spent time in Tawas City, East Tawas and Oscoda. The area is very pet friendly, we were able to take our pup just about everywhere...there's even a dog beach at Tawas Pointe State Park. The only minor point is that the bed is only a double and was a bit hard to sleep in, probably because we're used to a king. Honestly it didn't impact the enjoyment of our stay. Loon Lodge is an adorable and affordable cottage on a beautiful lake in a wonderful area of Michigan. I would not hesitate to stay here again on our next trip to this area."
