"Room with box bathroom in corner smelled damp, probably because regulation extraction fan in was not working and probably never had as string tied up as when fitted. The bed had a 6 cm foam mattress on a solid wood box base so very uncomfortable to sit on never mind sleep on, but still appeared to sag in middle. No reception, 2 flights of stairs and main door left open, so less than secure. Unsafe and unhealthy."

The apartment itself had everything we needed and included a nice private balcony which added to the ambience. We would definately choose to stay again if we are back in Carcassonne. "Appartement très joli, mais comme dit au propriétaire très humide le soir malgré la chaleur de la journée, le wi-fi est pas terrible car pas de réseau( appels) et la lumière de la fenêtre peut être mettre des rideaux occultant car le matin on est levé de bonheur. "Nous avions réservé pour le 14 et 15 juillet 2023. Des le 12, nous avons essayé de contacter l'hote, pour nous organiser : remise des cles, horaires etc. Pas de réponse. Le 13 juillet nous avons tenté de le joindre via Abritel et aussi sur son tel indiqué sur l'annonce. Faute de réponse, nous avonc contacté Abritel qui n'a pas reussi non plus à le joindre. Vers 20h30 a force de SMS répétés, nous avons reçu deux messages : L'un disant qu'il ne travaillait pas avec Abritel L'autre disant que l'on...

"The apartment was in a great position for all the places of interest which we wanted to visit. It was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Communication with the host was effective and prompt. "Un très bon séjour chez Jean-Paul et Isabelle, qui sont de merveilleux hôtes.Le logement n'est pas très grand mais extrêmement bien équipé, et comprend tout ce qu'il faut pour bien accueillir 2 personnes.A côté de cela, le "gîte" dispose d'un formidable niveau de services : une piscine très agréable, un barbecue, un espace "bar" ombragé (idéal pour se poser l'après-midi à l'abri du soleil), une table d'échec, un babyfoot, un espace pétanque...Et le meilleur : l'accueil de Jean-Paul et Isabelle....

"I booked this hotel at the last minute and was extremely pleased with my choice. The hotel lobby was large, clean, and inviting, and the receptionist was friendly and very helpful. Our room was large and clean, and the bathroom sparkled. The accommodation was excellent! The downside however was the restaurant. Our dinners were expensive, bland, and the choices were limited at the buffet counter. The service was good, which helped mitigate an otherwise negative experience. I highly recommend this hotel, but would suggest dining elsewhere. "
