How to get around the area

You’ll be staying in one of Mazatlán’s best areas: just a few blocks from the Zona Dorada, where everything is within easy reach.

🚶‍♂️ On foot:
Many places, such as the beach, restaurants, bars, convenience stores, and pharmacies, are just a few minutes’ walk away. It’s a very walkable, safe, and lively area both day and night.

🛵 Pulmonías and aurigas:
Mazatlán’s most typical vehicles. They’re safe, fun, and perfect for short distances. You can easily flag one down on the street. Ask the price before getting in (it’s usually inexpensive).

🚕 Traditional taxis:
Also available, though they tend to be a bit more expensive than pulmonías.

🚗 Ride-hailing apps (Uber / DiDi):
They work well in Mazatlán and are usually cheaper than a taxi. Ideal for longer trips or for getting back late at night.

🚌 Public transport:
There are bus routes that connect to the boardwalk, the historic centre, and other tourist spots. It’s the cheapest option, though less comfortable.
