"Booked as a group for a nearby wedding. It was absolutely amazing. We hired the entire main building ( there are some other units on the site that can also be booked). The location is gorgeous...remote but beautiful. Each room is individually designed and the owner, Lola, really has put her heart and soul into the restoration. "They charged me £35, but when I arrived at the hotel, it was completely closed. The gates were shut, all the doors were locked, and there was no sign of life — no staff, no guests, nothing. I tried to contact the hotel directly but received no helpful response. I then reached out to Expedia customer service, but they refused to issue a refund. It was clearly a scam — no one was there, and it appears they’re just taking money from people. This is unacceptable and very poor service. I strongly advise others not to trust them."
