"Had everything we needed! Kitchen was fully equipped, home and property are well maintained. Loved that we could buy fire wood on site! My kids spent hours just catching frogs and enjoying the sun. Beds were also very comfortable and love the shower!"

"From the moment we stepped out of our vehicle on the first evening, we knew we had found something special. The silence was incredible, it was so peaceful and serene. It was exactly the kind of place we were hoping to stay for our 30th anniversary!The grounds were beautifully maintained, clean, and so welcoming. The cabin itself was immaculate and thoughtfully designed, with attractive décor that made it feel cozy without sacrificing functionality. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.We both slept wonderfully each night. The bed was very comfortable, and after full days of adventuring, it was the perfect place to come home to and relax.The owners were excellent communicators and made us feel truly welcome. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, including delicious muffins and a basket of snacks waiting for us.This was one of those places that made our trip even more memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway."

"We enjoyed the privacy and quiet of the cabin. I think all of us were in a much better state of mind after our stay, coming from the rat race in Illinois. The cabin is thoughtfully equipped with everything you just might need! Julie is an excellent host and a great communicator. We got to enjoy seeing a baby elk on our first morning there right in the yard by the lake. We enjoyed the unique waterfall and bridge. We appreciated the fenced in yard for our dogs."
