The beds and bedding were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the layout and atmosphere of the home cozy and inviting…true to the spirit of McCloud. The location is great for walking around the sweet little mountain town and close enough to Mt. Shasta and Dunsmuir to access restaurants and activities. I highly recommend The Mountain House for a relaxing getaway and proximity to Snowman’s Hill, the Nordic Ski area and Mt. Shasta ski slopes. "
