"The room itself is smaller than most but well laid out. We liked the shower but a fan to clear steam would be nice if not please use the spray to prevent mirror fogging. A quick fix to the problem. We found the beds to be too high. A king bed doesn’t need king pillows. Most were too large and thick so not the most restful sleep. The hotel does offer smaller and feather pillows. This hotel shouldn’t go for look but comfort and you won’t have to have extras. It may have been our room but both the side chairs and toilet were lower than the standard height. I think it had a recent Reno but you missed the mark. The hotel is overall very clean. Great location. We were there for a wedding, I must say it was beautiful. The venue, food and staff were excellent. I would recommend!!"

"Overall we had a good stay. Check in was very easy and there's parking for two cars. The house is nice - a recent flip by the looks of it. The fridge door sticks a bit so you really have to push it closed. The bathrooms are well equipped but the towels could be a bit higher quality. Bedrooms are spacious and there's lots of closet space. There were a few spots that could have been cleaner - behind the sink in the bathroom upstairs and the shower curtain didn't have a liner. The house was conveniently located, just a few minutes drive from the ferry to access downtown Hailifax. We were overall happy with our stay."
