The surrounding of the area was clean and quiet veryi enjoying but definitely could of done a better job on the inside of the house inside with having an actual stove top to cook onț ,shower could of been bigger verbally I’d say the stay was a 6.5

We traveled here in May 2024. This is a great place to stay. The room was clean and beautiful as pictured. My family and I would stay here again. The room felt safe and in a good area with regular security patrols. PROS: This is a resort with lots of fun amenities to explore when you are there at the right time of the year. The room was very nice and clean and we had plenty of pillows and everything we would need for an extended stay. There are restaurants and shopping in the area if you don't want to remain at the resort. The area is beautiful to explore. CONS: I had picked the room wanting a private outdoor space for us as was pictured. However, if you are on the first floor with a king suite on Gemstone Dr the outdoor space had no privacy as it was on the same level as everyone out biking and walking and grilling or sitting in the picnic tables outside, so be sure to specify you want an upper floor if that matters to you. The outdoor pool wasn't open yet at the time we stayed and the indoor pool was too full to use when we tried. I expect that once the outdoor pool is open then that will not be an issue. We used the spa tub in our room and it was great except for there was hair stuck in the jet from a previous user. It was hard to see until we turned on the jets and it shot out, so it was likely easily missed by the cleaning staff because the room was immaculate otherwise.

I liked the uniqueness of the facility. It was a pretty big place with great people. I will say that the facility is very dated and dont exactly match the pictures on the internet. It's time for an update guys ! The tv is too small, the tv was broke, there were stains on the couch.

We always love staying at Massanutten. This place was perfect for the 2 of us. Very clean and close to everything. My only complaint, was there was a lpud noise throughout the night coming from a locked closet. I thought it was the air conditioner, but afyer turning it off, realized it wasnt. Needless to say, my daughter and i were awakened at 4 am...

I liked that the property was clean, quiet and had everything needed to stay long term, including free laundry facilities. With that said, some of the activities listed by the resort at check-in were unavailable and others were canceled. Additionally, the suits, while well kept reflected age.

The area is beautiful. The staff were helpful. Sadly the accommodation is ageing and needs some TLC. The electric circuit tripped off if we tried to make use of the kitchenette to make a meal. Would still like to come back, but some improvements is needed.

Okay the other button doesn’t work. The room was definitely substandard for a resort. If these rooms were to help me to consider purchasing at this resort I would not. These rooms should be nicely done to encourage occupancy of the other family designed places. Staying at a Hilton or Marriott would have been nicer rooms to stay.

While checking in, there were four people working the desk, but not one acknowledged us, and they were gossiping about a new hire when we finally made it to the check-in counter the lady that checked us in Oude on about the new hire and how she was so dippy. The bathrooms and our room is in much need of a makeover

I enjoyed the scenery and the activity options. We got to check out tennis rackets, a basketball, play in the arcade (including pool), and do the rock climbing wall. The staff were also very pleasant everywhere we went. Although they had many options, several things weren’t available to us without us having prior knowledge. For example, during check in we agreed to go to attend breakfast and “take a survey so they can see how they are doing”. In exchange, we got an Ultimate Pass for the Adventure Park, which included ziplining. When we went the next day, zip lining was closed due to being understaffed. It was irritating, but I accepted it. We then tried to book the escape room and it would only allow us to book one person, so that was also out of the question. When we did get to the “survey” (which we knew was gonna be the typical timeshare talk), it was supposed to be 2 hours and turned into 3 hours.

First and foremost, i will admit that we did stay here during the off-season, which really limited our options as far as entertainment opportunities went. With that being said i will leave that portion alone. The cleanliness though should never be an issue no matter the season. On top of the cabinets and counters were filthy even to look at. Obviously this really stressed me out in terms of trusting the cleanliness throughout the rest of the condo which lead me to sleep on top of the covers (which was fine because we had no fan in the bedroom). The fan was not the only thing missing in the bedroom though because the door to the bedroom also had no lock on it! I am assuming every room is not identical because this place came highly recommended by family, but i certainly did not have a similar experience.

Very nice for a Family Vacation. The unit we stayed in was nice, full kitchen if you don’t mind cooking on vacatIon, nice view from our balcony, bathroom was clean, there is jacuzzi in the bedroom which I got excited about but it wasn’t working. Overall the experience was great even though we had to drive to get to the water park. Will go again with more Family members.

Well, you might stop at their local restaurant which is at the bottom of the hill, called thunderbird. Which seems like the restaurant in the horror movie you stop at before all the action starts! Aside from that the homefries weren't all that bad. Not much was going on during my stay, most things seemed closed or booked solid. 😕 The veiw and the fresh air and the Waterpark was awesome! The accommodation weren't all that bad either. Just might visit again!

The property appeared to be kept up well in most areas, but the staff could be a little more polite. I was there to spend time with my brother and his family, who are owners, and to check out the place on my own without a sales pitch. However, the woman at the sales desk was pretty rude when I declined the tour for that particular stay. I paid to stay there. It was not a promotional stay and her attitude was not very conducive for creating potential interest in ownership. My kids loved the place, but I'm hesitant to consider it now. It seems like you just want the money and not even attempt have customers feel welcomed.

Hotel was a convenient location to water park and other amenities. Bathroom areas could use some updates - one sink has a large crack in it. The refrigerator and coffee machine were useful. Neighbors were loud and let their door slam a lot in the early morning.

Few things about our condo that should be addressed. There are no bigger forks. They only had small ones. That was annoying. Also a few nicer blankets for the beds. The ones in the closet were old & raggedy. The light in the kitchen was huge & hung down not over the table so you almost ran into it multiple times especially going in & out of fridge. Other than that the resort area was great & convenient.
