Our stay was for 2 nights yet could have easily stretched for longer as the guest house was just like home. There was tons of cooking supplies, large roomy rooms and comfortable furniture. Very close to stores and restaurants, beach and hiking trails. Nice sunset on our first night. The house is just as described and communication with house manager Toni was excellent.

Beautiful guest home sharing the property with the main house. It’s set back in a quiet neighborhood, but close driving distance to things like restaurants and groceries. Comfortable, quiet, and close enough to everything to make it convenient. We hope to come back again.

Beautiful Place to Stay!

This is our favorite place to stay when we visit our family! It has lots of space to host family dinners and has everything we need for a comfortable stay. Not to mention the view - it is stunning!!

Lovely Stay

We had such a nice time visiting Humboldt and the stay at this home made everything even better. The house was clean and comfortable. Close to town and the view was spectacular! Will definitely recommend this place to others!

Redwoods Vacation

The property is an excellent location when wanting to visit the various Redwood parks from Graberville to Crescent City. Also, some numerous ocean sites. The house is immaculate. Super clean and updated. We encountered no problems.

A Perfect Stay with Breathtaking Views!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming guest cottage! The views from the property are simply stunning — whether enjoying a morning coffee on the porch or winding down at sunset, the scenery never disappointed.The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained. Everything we needed was provided, and it was clear that a lot of care has gone into making this a welcoming and comfortable retreat. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, and the overall space was both stylish and functional.It was the perfect blend of peaceful seclusion and easy access to local attractions. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommended — we’d love to return.

It's a fully furnished guest home with the assigned parking on the side. The view of the ocean in the distance is calming and relaxing. The area is beautiful and very safe for walking. The house is equipped with everything you may need in the kitchen. Very quiet neighborhood close to town stores.

Pretty View

We appreciated the location, view and cozy guesthouse. We wanted to be close to the university as we were visiting our son. The kitchen windows and main entrance face the main home so there is less privacy but that wasn’t a big issue for us. The best highlights of the home for me was the great view, easy parking, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, warm fireplace in master, and comfortable seating in the living area. The laundry machines were an added bonus for our son. It is a very relaxing setting and we would stay again.

Gorgeous home, view, and neighborhood

We loved, loved, LOVED this home! It was beautifully decorated in a relaxing beach motif, located in a quiet neighborhood, has a stunning beack view and comes equipped with every kitchen gadget needed. Even has a home office off the garage, perfect for working vacations. There are bikes in the garage, as well as a pingpong table. Thank you for creating such a welcoming environment!

McKinleyville Luxury

Clean, well appointed, and well supplied. Beautiful, safe, bucolic neighborhood. Comfortable beds and living room seating. Nice view and sitting options inside and outside. Ping Pong in the garage was a bonus. Easy to use Bose sound, and multiple good local music stations. The Netflix, you have to log into your own, which never works for me; but we didn't come here to watch TV. Top of my list to rent again.

Dream vacation

There's a reason for all the exceptional reviews. This place is just perfect for a coastal vacation! The home itself is beautifully decorated in coastal decor and in a quiet, relaxing neighborhood. The natural lighting from the windows and skylights add to the ambience. The views from this property are stunning! Beds were so comfortable and the kitchen has just about every appliance you can think of! The ensuite bathroom is huge with a jetted tub and ginormous shower!! It's like a spa day any time you feel like it. Plus there's little things that are included like a scale (we used for weighing our luggage) and a steamer, even a back scratcher! The proximity to the beaches and the Redwoods is why we decided to rent it. We took a day trip to Oregon to see the huge rock formations jutting out of the ocean. Just beautiful! Toni is a wonderful hostess and really does think of everything her guests might need. Thanks so much Toni, for sharing this gorgeous property! The only disappointing thing for us was not meeting the black lab that visits from next door.

Relaxing haven and amazing property

My husband, two daughters and I stayed at this gem of a property for college move-in weekend. Our daughter is a freshman and was nervous about being away from home for the first time and living independently. This rental provided us as a family the PERFECT opportunity for that transition. We could not have hoped for a better place to stay! Toni was incredibly fast to respond to all inquiries at all times, unbelievably kind and polite. Excellent communication aside, of all the rental properties we have stayed in over the years, nothing compares to this one. The level of personal touches is off the charts at this property. It was literally a home away from home. Everything we could have needed and then some was available for us to use and they were all quality items. The signa on the walls were inspirational and relaxing. The views were breathtaking and phenomenal. It is a very safe and extremely quiet property that is spacious and comfortable. We will be back to stay here again for sure. Thank you, Toni, for making this huge life transition so much easier on all of us by sharing your incredible property with us. We truly appreciate your kindness every step of the way!

Very nice place to stay! Very clean and comfortable! Happened to meet the cleaning lady as she was leaving when we arrived. She was extremely friendly and gave us a quick tour. Toni (owner) responded quickly to any messages and was a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend this place!
