"My girlfriend and I loved this camp! The view from the dock is one we won’t forget. Canoeing around the pond and up the river was fun. We hiked a few of the many trails in the area. We curled up with good books during a rainy morning. And, we enjoyed exploring Bethel. We couldn’t ask for anything more from a camp in Maine. Thank you so much for welcoming us to the camp. "We were looking for a last minute room the night before the eclipse, and this was one of the few places still available. The past reviews were definitely a red flag, but we decided to take a chance on this place. It’s an older motel but it was clean enough. I didn’t smell any stale cigarette smoke as others have mentioned, but it does seem they use fragranced cleaners / air fresheners. There wasn’t a cover on the box spring, which had a couple of old stains. That was gross but not a big deal; I had no reason to touch the box spring anyway. I was afraid there would be bugs (based on past reviews), but we did a thorough check and didn’t see any. Phew. The bathroom has its own heater which was quite nice. We didn’t use the pool. Our room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Overall it was fine for the price!"

The best weekend
"We were fortune enough to have our wedding here in October and it could not have been more magical, despite the crazy amount of rain. Callie and the property managers were so easy to get ahold of and quickly responded to any questions we had throughout the entire process. The house was perfect for fitting all of our close family and friends and provided the best atmosphere for our wedding weekend. Checking in and out was super easy. We already can't wait to book again for a family weekend or anniversary."
