Beautifully Remodeled Wine Country Cottage

The 1101 NW Elm St Cottage is a fantastic base for your visit to the Willamette Valley wine country. The Valley boasts over 500 wineries and the Cottage is located within an hour of both Portland Metro and the Oregon Coast. The Cottage was meticulously remodeled in 2017 and now contains new stainless steel appliances, farm sink, original hardwood floors, new light fixtures, new washer and dryer in an immaculate shiplap laundry room, all new plumbing fixtures, romantic electric fireplace, flat screen smart-TV with bluetooth and surround sound. The Cottage is located on a large corner lot with 14 x 14 sq ft deck off the master bedroom, new dual-pane windows, roof and paint. Best of all, the Cottage is only blocks from beautiful downtown McMinnville, America's 2nd Best Main St. (by Parade Magazine 2014).

This home was wonderful for the two of us. Clean and extremely well stocked. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces are a great cozy touch. Perfect place for a wine country getaway!

Three night stay Thanksgiving Weekend

The cottage was perfect for our three night stay. It was exceptionally clean, had a super comfy bed, and lots of nice touches. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. The location is great for visiting the downtown area and close to so many wineries. I highly recommend this property!

Willamette Wine Country Experience

Gorgeous scenery, flowers, trees and wonderful Farm to Table dining. Family in the area so it was great fun re-connecting. From Netarts Beach to the Dundee Hills … it was magnificent!

Gem of a location

Beautiful home. Very comfortable, quiet and safe neighborhood. Easy drive to Dundee vineyards and Carlton. It was a wonderful location and the host was great with suggestions and responsive.

Charming and Convenient

We stayed at this lovely little home in the fall/winter of 2024. It is extremely well-stocked and cleverly arranged. A comfortable bed, plenty of fluffy towels, a fully stocked kitchen with many basics to get you started on your stay, and a quiet neighborhood added to our enjoyment. The home is extremely clean and perfect for two adults.

Excellent! Exactly as advertized

This little house is darling, and looks exactly like the pictures. It was perfectly clean and cozy, and we really appreciated the kitchen, the fresh coffee, and especially the unobtrusive labels on the light switches and remotes - a very thoughtful touch! We'll definitely stay there again next time we're in McMinnville!

Perfect wine country cottage

Perfect cottage for two people to use as home base while visiting wine country. The house is extremely clean, has a well-equipped kitchen, and we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. Very responsive host. Thank you!

Charming!

This small home within walking distance of McMinnville's historic downtown is charming, well-stocked, comfortable and extremely clean. Fluffy towels, a well-supplied kitchen should you choose to eat in, comfortable bed, quiet neighborhood and street. We have stayed here twice, during fall and winter, and it was warm and toasty. The electric fireplace is great. I imagine the covered back patio is wonderful for relaxing during a summer trip. The host is very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful quaint little bungalow

This home is perfect for a couple get away or parents visiting their Linfield student. Wonderful outdoor area for lounging on nice days and completely updated and modern inside for colder weather. There was even a full, complementary coffee bar for guests to enjoy. The manager was prompt with answering questions and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We look forward to returning!

Cute and Comfy!!

This was just a quick getaway and even though we had to cut it short we really enjoyed McMinnville.This cottage was the perfect size for the 2 of us. The bed was comfortable, the linens and pillows were luxurious. I really liked the neighborhood. It was safe and the location was convenient. Although we didn't really use the kitchen, it was large and fully equipped. Top notch host!

Perfection at its best!

From first stepping inside until departure this cottage left no stone unturned. I didn't even want to leave to visit family. It was decorated perfectly from the art on the walls to the comfy bed. The hosts were very reachable and accommodating. A ten all the way around!

McMinnville Holiday stay

The house is in a great place. Very central to any Willamette Valley destination. The owner, Kevin, was awesome. Very quick with communication and direction. All the amenities of the home were good. We come to Oregon 2-3 times a year. We definitely are looking at a late June or for 4th of July 2024. Ty Kevin and VRBO.

Big benefit for a little place

This was a fantastic place for my wife and me to stay to enjoy McMinnville and the surrounding areas. It was honestly bigger than I expected it to be from the pictures. It is a bit of a walk from downtown but part of the fun was to take different routes to downtown checking out the different styles of homes, landscaping, etc. The neighborhood felt safe. Kevin was a great host as he was quick to respond, hooked us up with discount cards for wine tasting, recommendations and even loaned us some cruiser bikes. We would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway!

We did a road trip through Oregon and wanted some time near the wineries. I researched what would be close but also have a charming downtown. Downtown is a one mile walk through a cute neighborhood. Restaurants were great and make sure you have a reservation for some. They closed down the street in the weekend for summer and you can walk though peacefully. The home is precious and perfect for two people. We sat on the back patio after dinner, such a quiet neighborhood. Having laundry machine was an extra bonus. Host was responsive and one of the cleanest VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in!

Cute house in great location

The house was perfect for the two of us. We were blocks from downtown and the weather was absolutely beautiful. The only comment I have is the backyard is far from being private! You are on a corner lot with no fencing and everyone can see you. So just be aware. But we could not ask for a cleaner house. We had every single thing that we needed and had a great time!

Comfy McMinville Cottage

This was our first visit to McMinville/Willamette Valley, prior to this visit we were not familiar with the area. The cottage was a great home base for our long weekend visit! The furniture/bed were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked for meal preps, and we were pleased there were plenty of linens, basic toiletries, and even laundry supplies! We did use the outdoor deck and while it lacks privacy, the neighborhood is generally quiet and family friendly. We were happy there was gas in the tank for the outdoor fireplace and grill, but it is not guaranteed and guests may need to fill tanks if they are empty. There were also some guest passes for local wineries available which was nice. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Willamette!

Perfect McMinnville House

This was my husband and I's first trip to Oregon. We bopped all around the state, but wanted a home base for wine tasting in the Willamette Valley. This home was perfect! McMinnville was such a cute town and this kept us close to everything in the city center. The neighborhood was lovely, as were the different neighbors who walked by. We even had a deer friend one morning in our backyard! It was just my husband and I on this trip, but this home was the perfect size for us. Check in and out was a breeze. There was plenty of space for the two of us. We came from Texas, so having AC was a nice plus. Bed was comfy, house was cleanly, everything you could ask for! Overall, we would highly recommend this house and can't wait to be back!

Great Stay Except For The Bed

I really wanted to give the host a review that just said amazing. The cottage is adorable, well appointed with everything you need (salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar, some extra spices, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies and shampoo/conditioner/body wash). The kitchen had more supplies and cookware than in any house I've ever stayed. 10 Stars for that. The outside could use a bit of sprucing up and some more privacy but the ability to sit outside with morning coffee was a treat. The major negative was the bed. I, along with 39% of the American population have back issues and a firm, high quality bed that doesn't have wells in the areas where people sleep is a must. With a new bed at the cottage I would definitely rent again.
