Little Grand Lake Retreat | Kayaks, Firepit, Sleeps 8 | Near Duluth + Ivy Black

Little Grand Lake Retreat | Kayaks, Firepit, Sleeps 8 | Near Duluth + Ivy Black

10/10 Excellent
"The place was stunning and cozy. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. The view of the lake was nice. Check-in was easy. Very family friendly. There were games and a couple life jackets and fire starter kits. More things then I expected. For being my first vrbo I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a quiet cozy place to stay that is kid friendly."

"Great property!! The town is very quiet but you’re still within 30 min of Duluth and cloquet. The river is beautiful and the cabin is very cozy and clean. The host was very easy to communicate with. We were able to bring our dog and that made it even better!! Highly recommend!"

Lakefront Cabin with Hot tub, Sauna, Kayaks

Lakefront Cabin with Hot tub, Sauna, Kayaks

10/10 Excellent
"Overall, this is a really nice cabin by the lake. The view is gorgeous and it’s very quiet. We loved the paddle boards and kayaks. The shared property is a little bit weird, especially the lake loft. Fire pit is right in front of the cabin. Luckily the couple staying there were quite nice. One downside is that the bathroom is on the first floor and the bedrooms are on the second floor, which is a little bit inconvenient if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The spiral staircase is a bit iffy, we mostly used the outdoor stairs. I gave four stars for the check-in process because they send you a text with a link just hours before your actual check-in as the cell service is spotty, this is a bit risky and I was a little stressed being able to download the link to get in, although it worked out fine. The water smells like sulfur and is not drinkable, although they do provide a Britta water filter. Internet spotty but it’s pretty rural."

Peaceful Lakeside Retreat on Little Grand Lake

Peaceful Lakeside Retreat on Little Grand Lake

10/10 Excellent
"Where to start... Parchment Paper? We planned a late/last minute trip and the place we stayed last year was not available. If it hadn't been, we would not have found this place and didn't really realize what we had booked. If "rustic" has a luxury side this it.The place seems newly built/remodeled so in excellent condition, but it also furnished to a "t" - everything we needed, including some stuff we forgot was there. We ended up doing some things we hadn't planned (and would have done more with more time) because the host has thought of everything, right down to the parchment paper we needed for dinner - and the security code (IYKYK).We had some questions on the first day, the host responded quickly and clearly. Checkout day was easy and some good reminders on the list, all up a great stay that we wish could have been longer. If we end up staying somewhere else next time it will be because this one is already booked ;)"
