Silver Lake is located in Mears, Michigan and offers shorelines along Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. While vacationing here you won't want to miss out on the experiences that the massive Silver Lake Sand Dunes have to offer. Rent a jeep of your own or head over to Mac Wood's Dune Rides for an adventurous ride on the sand dunes. Nearby is the Hart-Montague Bicycle Trail that will take you along 22.5 miles of scenic routes. The quaint little town of Pentwater is located just north of the Silver Lake area. Pentwater is the epitome of small-town charm with its shops, food, and ice cream. Don't forget to grab breakfast at Cherry Point, where they offer homemade donuts and treats daily. For dinner, spend an evening at Golden Sands, a small, family-owned restaurant and golf course that will leave a lasting impression. Plan on spending a day with your family at Michigan's Adventure for a day of action and excitement. Double JJ is just minutes south in Rothbbury and offers a touch of the Old West with horseback riding, waterpark, miles of trails, and much more. Silver Lake Dune Jeep invasion
Enjoyed my stay here ! I will be bringing my own blanket next time as it did get chilly at night and the blankets provided were extremely thin . I did find and use the portable heaters that were in each closet so that was extremely helpful! As far as cleanliness , there was a lot of dust under furniture and food as well on the floor in the kitchen area. I had used an auto detailing blower while cleaning out sand from the dunes from my shoes and some food came out of corners from previous occupants that could have easily been taken care of if the cleaning were done properly … I would advise the cleaning crew to vacuum and clean the floors more thoroughly in the future especially under the beds and sofas . Already booked for next year ! My communication with the host was excellent at all times!

Great little Bungalow, great location to get to the dunes
This bungalow is exactly as stated, cute and charming. Check in was a breeze, place is clean and met our expectations. Owner was quick to reply. Location was perfect for dune access and watching the trucks and toys drive by when we were not on the dunes. We would rent this place again!

Great location for entry to dunes (very busy on the weekends!). Appreciated the explanations of lighthouses near by (husband climbed 3 of them) and other suggestions (Pentwater, etc)

Cozy little cottage
We only stayed for a couple of days, wish we stayed longer! This house was so adorable, everything was remodeled and clean. Close to the sand dune orv entrance and to silver lake. Perfect. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great location. Perfect little cottage for my family of four. The only negative thing I have to say is I wish there was a washer and dryer. Otherwise it was the perfect location to everything we wanted to do.
