1265 square foot home located 0.2 miles from Silver Lake ORV sand dune entrance. 3 bedroom home with a kitchen, living room and all-season porch with 3 patio door for beautiful view and a gas fireplace. A shaded yard and a fenced area for dogs. Centrally located for all outdoor activities. The silver Lake area has something to do for everyone, fishing, canoeing, swimming, hiking, biking, walking along the sandy shores of Lake Michigan or yeeting thru the sand dunes in your off road vehicle or side x side. Seasonal attractions like Mac Woods dune rides, Little Sable light house tours, Craig’s cruisers, shopping, Icecram shops, Chicken shack, Hart-Montague bike trails, local wine tours, golfing, Lewis Adventure Farm and Zoo. Day Trips to Ludington, Manistee or the Baldwin trail system. For rentals use Silverback rentals or Wave Club boat rentals. So many memories to be made!

This is our second year staying at Sweet Retreat and we absolutely love it! It is the cutest, coziest place. Very pet friendly! They think of everything from extra toiletries you may have forgotten to an extra leash and poop bags! We will definitely continue to stay here!

We have stayed here two times now, and both times were wonderful. The host is very accommodating with excellent communication! You also can’t beat the location, you are 1 minute from the dunes. We were able to go in and out all day. It’s clean and was well equipped for my family of 6 and our dog!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sweet Retreat. Great house in a very convenient location. The house was very clean, well decorated, and fully stocked with everything our family needed. Beds were comfortable, shower was roomy with plenty of hot water, and we had plenty of space. We especially liked the four season room as it provided a convenient space for our sandy shoes, fishing gear, and a safe space for our dog to hang out while we were at the dunes or in the lake.

Fantastic Stay

The cottage was perfect for our stay and is in a great location. The house was very clean and the four season room turned into the perfect hangout spot. The coffee and s’mores bars are a great touch and the kids couldn’t wait to have a bonfire. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Silver Lake area.

Best VRBO

This place is amazing! The house is lovely and very comfortable. Jennie has gone over the top on making her place inviting. She has thought of everything (even a supply of creamers in the mini fridge by the coffee station). Every time I turned around- there was another surprise that Jennie thought of. It is clean, quiet, and close to the lake. We will be back!!

Perfect family getaway!

This is truly the best rental home we’ve stayed in. The house was very clean and we all felt at home, including the dogs! All the little amenities through out the house were very appreciated! We will be booking again & we can’t wait to return!

The Sweet Retreat was really sweet !

The property was SUPER nice, clean, and close to the dunes entrance! Their amenities were extremely helpful, and the owners were super informative! We would love to stay here again ! This was our frist trip with our infant and their home made it so easy for us !

Wonderful Property and Location

This property is extremely well cared for and the owners thought of everything! The location was also perfect for my large family plus 2 dogs. Tons of stuff to do in town and 25 mins from Ludington! My family and I all agree we will be renting from this property again and you should consider it for your family vacation spot as well !

A great place to stay!

The owners really thought of everything here. We felt so welcome from the stocked coffee bar to s'mores options for the kids. It was a very clean rental so close to the dunes entrance which made it more than convenient when coming and going for lunch/snacks. The outdoor area was nice and private as well. We would definitely come back!
